For what its worth, I just stalled out on pressing doing FB too. I’d been stuck on low incline pressing the 40’s for 9 for 3-4 weeks. I have similar session set up, low and high incline in 1 session. Mid incline and laterals another session. Smith pressing variations too. I felt like it was maybe a recovery issue. Ended up having 4 days out of the gym with some wierd fever thing. Came back and got the 40’s for 11! Picked up 2 reps. Seems like I can only do 1 set of direct chest work EOD. I redid my programming and pulled out 1 or 2 sets for chest each week. Progress seems to be flowing again now.

@Hilly Thats very good to know, thanks. Im prescribed TRT, so I’ll be on for life. It was the fertility aspect I was thinking about. I’m 32, so im thinking about my short to mid term (3-8 years) fertility. My partner is 35. I started TRT at 30 so figured HCG made sense for fertility over that timeframe. But it was just a guess with the information I had.

Also, in relation to mast/primo. As of last night and today, blood pressure is starting to creep up again. I think there was a sweet spot as test was going down from 350 to 100, and deca hadn’t reached peak yet. But now I look watery, I can feel it in my face and BP is high (138/70). Might not be the compound for me unfortunately. Especially with HGH (3IU). That high BP is with aromasin, telmisartan, cialis, aspirin, jp supps, caber. All that to manage deca and 500mg total drugs doesnt seem like a good option to me. So I think I will give test/mast/primo a go and figure out if there is a ratio I can run of around 500mg total that is a lot easier to manage for me.

Im probably making this a lot harder for myself with HCG in the mix. I seem quite prone to hypertension issues through e2 water retention and maybe RAAS too.

Drop the hcg when on cycle you don’t need it ( imo )

Am I likely wasting my time keeping it in to try an maintain some fertility and keep options open? Or is it best to just do a proper fertility blast of stuff and cross your fingers if/when the time arises?

Oh and I’m running the 100 test 400 deca now and BP seems to be coming down and being more manageable at about 125/65, so thanks for the advice. Its still taking 80mg telmisartan and 75mg aspirin and your supps to do that though!

the HCg will defo be causing a spike in E2 here on top of any aromatisation for sure and making things worse

The best thing to do here is find what dose of primo/mast (I prefer a 50/50 mix) keeps E2 in a good on say 300mg test – you should be able to get it in a great range and then you can make moves from there.

As J says tho some people do just need to use a little AI or look to EQ as it has a much stronger AI effect for most than primo/mast IME

Thanks! I will definitely start figuring all that out with Mast and Primo after this build phase. For now the HCG is staying in to maintain some testicular function / fertility to hopefully keep options open. So it sounds like E2 management will remain pretty crucial for now.

Your a little on the high side , but it’s not a crazy reaction . I would need 12.5 aromasin Ed aswell on 350 test

Run the test at 100 and then you will likely get away with 400 nandrolone ontop , and not need much if any aromasin . I can run 2g nandrolone and be ok

Thats very useful to know, thank you. Ok, I’ll grab a bottle of nandrolone so I can dilute down the test in the blend I have and not waste it.

Also at the 350 test , did you have the hcg in? As that’s a huge culprit for the estro in the trt doses

Yes, the HCG is always in. Around 250-300IU EOD. About 1000IU a week.

Laser hair removal, or see a dermatologist to get some help with skin care

Lots of votes for laser, I’ll look into this again.
Do you know if you can generally get good help on the NHS or do I really need to go private? Are they just going to tell me to stop shaving if that’s what’s irritating my skin 😄
    Thanks

I agree with Pheebs laser would be a good option.

Have you tried hair removal cream.? You can get sensitive skin ones.. Or using a hair trimmer (not the one blade Philips) just to trim the hair shorter then using a razor in the shower with foam (non scented sensitive skin) and then apply moisturiser again non scented sensitive skin.

I guess it’s one of them trial and error things

I have tried the creams, even if I leave them on longer than it says, to the point that my skin is burning, it still leaves a lot of hairs that I then have to shave anyway. Maybe I’m just unlucky and have quite thick hairs. I doubt I’m putting the cream on wrong, it’s possible though!

Maybe I’ll give it another go, as shaving really isn’t the one right now. Thanks

Hey Jacob, have you tried laser hair removal? You do have to shave prior to this, but I really think this would be beneficial to you.

Hi Phoebe, I have tried it on my shoulders / upper back, didnt have much luck annoyingly. I had a block of 6 or 8 sessions, maybe that wasnt enough. This was about 5 years ago though, im sure the kit has improved now too. Could be worth revisiting, thanks!
