Allright guys, an update here: my girlfriend tested positive on the preggy test 4 times in a row now. So I am happy to say we conceived! Right away after she started utrogestan (progresteron)

I have been off for quite some time. And feeling meh on it. Since I do not want to slam it all down again until we have done the 20 weeks scan. I will wait to hop back on a cycle for sure.

But what if i hop on true TRT with hmg and hcg (since I have still a lot of it left) will this be ok? My plan then is to get on 125mg test with 75iu eod hmg and 1250iu hcg eod. Until we have done the 20 weeks scan and we can be a lot more sure all is good. Then I might hop back on a full cycle again. But who knows..

My Q is: in what regard will hopping on trt + hmg/hcg slam down my sperm count/motility etc. If it will slam it brutal, I will bite the bullet and stay of longer. But TRT will make my life better.. @Hilly what would you say?

Being on hmg/hcg will mean you’re in a state of hyper spermagenesis . However coming off them doesn’t necessarily mean your chances are any less. – there is a tipping point where more doesn’t mean more chances. Lots of factors go into it such as quality of sperm, it’s motility and morphology. If your count is still reasonably good between 50-200m when off then you have a very good chance

Hi Bud,

I am in the same boat as you are.

All agree with the above @Hilly has said. However, I would also book in a bloodtest to see where youre test levels and lh levels are at. Your sperm morpholy is quite low; 2%. This might be because of low test levels. Since test need the present to mature the cells.

I have been on 500mg injectable L-carn for a month now. Is this long enough to see any change / results in semen? Or does it need to be the FULL 8/10 weeks until I can notice any changes in my semen? You’d think after running for a month, you can see some results, just not the full end result?

Thanks bud. In need for same advice here once again. Since my test is now 13,4; If i follow dr deans guidelines, i can now stop the hcg and keep going with hmg and clomid.

What would you do in this matter? Indeed drop the hcg? 2.5k iu eod is not cheap. So for my wallet it is better to drop it.

the brand i used at no pain – it was savage supplements 200mg per ml.

@hilly Mine is 500mg/ml hence that is why it might burn when being injected.. I am getting used to it now and its fine. I have been on the stuff now for a good two weeks.

Can you remember with what percentages your motility did better itself? Quite curious to know :). Have been trying to find some info on your log. But cant find it since it is quite some time ago.

I will stay off all test still. My last bloods saw a result of test being 10, so in range. Does not feel right to go on trt and potentially smash it all down again.

– I will add L-carn as @Hilly advised
– keep running 1250iu hcg, 75iu hmg eod and clomid at 50 ED.
– 5 gram of d-aspartic acid will be added.

Will do this for another month or so, and then I will take bloods again. Then I will decide weither i get on trt or not.

I’ve got the results in from the sperm test.

I will write them out for you. Since it is in Dutch.

Totale Motile Sperm Count (VCM): 9,0 10*6

Spermcells moving good (grade A): 10,6%

Sperm cells moving mediocre (grade B): 32,8%

Sperm cells not moving: 56,6%

Total sperms per 1ml: 26 million

”Sperm is viscous” it also states

Total volume: 2ml

@Hilly Could you give your insights on the results? I will keep running hmg, since I got it anyway. Should I also keep running hcg (currently 1250iu eod) and 50mg clomid ed? Thats what I am also doing, besides the 75iu hmg eod.
