    Looking awesome buddy, have you got a target weight to step back on stage at or you just using the mirror and pics as a guide.
    Yeah I don’t miss the pre early shift cardio , 4am on the cross trainer was awful. Had to be done though ????????

    Thanks for the reply hilly, yes I have competed and made it to the national finals on each occasion, so hopefully I have some appreciation of the standards required , but seeing a women in tears due to exhaustion didn’t really sit comfortably with me.

    I was never the biggest on stage but condition always got me noticed and you are right , half my prep was spent walking round like the living dead , but the difference is I was still able to turn it on when I got to the gym.

    This lady just looked mentally and physically broken , if the coach had a reputable back ground with female athletes then It wouldn’t be my place to get involved but he is a glorified PT and I think he’s giving poor advice and not giving this women the support she really needs

    Im like a zombie currently at 2 weeks out, I go dizzy most times I stand up etc, but when I drop my pre workout drink Prepare and get to the gym im alive for the session. Only just but im alive to hit it hard.

    If she isn’t then she needs to re asses and if the coach doesn’t agree he needs ditching IMO.

    I am yet to find one PT who makes a decent coach, they have no nutritional education and as far as im aware are not qualified to be doing this sort of thing anyway in reality. Granted some are top end competitors etc and this is different but most are jumping on a dangerous bandwagon

    Completely agree mate, same cookie cutter diet for everyone, and taking novice athletes money without a care for their welfare or having any experience in the field . Scary

    Unfortunately her coach is basically another PT who has competed only once before. I personally have competed at a much higher level than him (not that, that makes me any sort of expert)but like you have said I do not want to tread on anyone’s toes but she looks completely flat , exhausted and run down and losing muscle ,she used body fat callipers this morning and was 9% ( accuracy questionable) , I was thinking of recommending a second opinion from a fresh set of eyes , someone who was prepped a bikini athlete previously.
    She has competed before and looked good but I believe she will not get to the same level under this PT /coach .

    Whole eggs, egg whites and turkey bacon is my goto choice for meal 1. Throw the lot in to the pan with some coconut oil and your good to go.

    Hi Joe, another great insight to you nutrition protocol, On your upper and lower training days do you purposely back off the fats on your last meals and keep the carbs in.

    Hi Jordan, what is the reason behind excess insulin use being so detrimental to the waistline, if used moderately would this still increase the waistline regardless.

    Hey Louis have you got a target weight in mind when you start back on properly? Do you keep your diet the same on training and non-training days , i tend to adjust carbs and fats during active and less active days.

    Hi James, I’m not really sure I guess atleast 90kgs in pretty decent condition would be a great starting point for prep so let’s see what we can do! I do usually lower carbs on my rest days quite dramatically then maybe have a meal off in the evening. How do you approach yours? Are you in the offseason now?

    Hi Louis , I dieted for a holiday in July , went a bit overboard and was pretty much in show condition. So been on a cruise for the last two weeks and have just adjusted my diet , using the JP diet plan for macros so yeah reduce carbs to around 150g on non training days , they then get ramped up to 300+ on training days .

    First time I’ve ever logged my workouts as well, also backed off my working sets after watching all your guys training videos .

    I have always classed myself as being a pretty intense trainer but this lower volume, heavier weight training literally knocks the bollocks out of me .

    Hoping to get back on stage next year in a masters classic physique but need to get the wife’s permission First , as I’m currently banned from competing ????????[/quote]

    Haha has she put you on a ban?! Or you banned from the fed like me haha! Yeah the low volume really knocks the bollocks out of you if your putting everything you have into those few working sets!

    Yeah it’s a wife ban ????, did my first comp in 2013, she was pregnant at the time, she went into labour at 3am. So what would any competitive athlete do , head straight down stairs cook 2kg of chicken breast and knock out 20 mile on the exercise bike fasted, she rang me from upstairs asking for some pain relief, said I only had another ten mins to do and I’ll be up with the paracetamol ????.
    So it’s left a bitter taste in her mouth, I feel awful about it now but at the time , it was something I needed to do .
    How come your banned and from what fed

    @drdeanstmart , Hi Dean , I currently take a self prescribed dose of 1mg of Finasteride daily to try and offset hair loss/thinning , will taking this have any detrimental effects while on cycle, are there any compounds I should avoid while using finasteride.
    Any info would be much appreciated.

    Loving your training videos Jamie, your looking enormous WTF have you been cruising on , just started a 8 week cruise on test E 250, something I’ve never done before, it’s definitely helping mentally if nothing else.

    Have you got your blast cycle planned, was wondering if your including Masteron as that seems to be a popular compound for bulking at the min.

    Hey buddy my cruise is 400 test 300 dhb, I still feel very good tbh, strength is still high and I’m managing my recovery well ????

    My blast will include these compounds I just have to run it by the boss but I want to shoot for a gram of each. I’ve never done big cycles and I’ve heard good reports on DHB as an off season drug with similar qualities to EQ and primo.

    How long are you planning to cruise for and what will be your dosage. I’m currently cruising on 250ml of test E for 8 weeks, never tried this approach before so interested to see how it plays out. Also I hear a lot of athletes using masteron on a bulking cycle I always used it pre contest, is it something you now do? Would it be to keep the estrogen levels in check ?

    Loving the videos, the one of you returning to talk to the school kids was inspirational, That’s what the sport should be about.

    Hey James thanks for the nice comments bud. Well I’m currently not on a cruise. We’re continuing to blast at 750mg test e and 700 mast e to take full advantage of this rebound phase. This will allow me to eat more. Train harder and longer and generally build more muscle – which is what my feedback was. (Need to be bigger) … I’ll cruise 7 weeks post show on 3/350mg test e for 8 weeks, get bloods and if all good blast and push again. 125kg is the goal this off season (whilst being lean ish)
    Mast isn’t an AI but it has AI properties so will help when running higher test on cycle. Also means you don’t age to run as high an AI if you weren’t using mast. Hope that helps bud ????

    Thanks for taking the time to reply joe and that is a big help .
    I’ll certainly put masteron in my next blast , never been a big fan of the water balloon look.
    Your look is the one I aspire to most but need to pack some quality size on first , not ideal being the other size of 40 either ????.
