    if i remember correctly tempo goes like this, 5 sec eccentic followed by 15sec iso hold at fully stretched position finished with explosive hard contraction with no pause at the top[/quote]

    If it’s a DC set on calves, my guess is it would be one straight set of around 10-15 reps, explosive concentric and slow eccentric and a hold in the stretch position between each rep.

    So I had my check in today with Corinne. It went well!

    14.5 weeks out from 2Bros Ben Weider.

    Gyms open up here in Ireland on Monday. I’m excited. But apprehensive as there will still be quite extensive social distancing protocols in place. But nonetheless. Excited.

    Corinne has actually upped my food and added a couple things to my diet plan that are new! Looking forward to this ????

    Steps are to remain at 8k per day and rest day cardio is still at 20mins LISS before meal 1.

    Training Day – Weekdays
    Meal 1 is to be eaten within 30mins of waking
    (6am) Meal 1 – 3 eggs, 3 whites cooked as you like
    (9.30am) Meal 2 – 150g 5% fat beef, 3 rice cakes
    (1pm) Meal 3 – 150g chicken, 40g rice
    (4.30pm) Pre gym meal, eaten 90mins before – 30g protein from whey, 40g ground rice/COR, 30g blueberries, 10g nut butter
    (5.45pm) 15-20mins before – 1 serving of PREpare
    (Train 6-7.30pm) Intra mixed in 1-2litres of water, drink steadily throughout:
    20g JP EAAs, 5g creatine, 30g Performance Fuel
    (8pm) Pwo 30mins after – 10 egg whites, 55g rice, 35g rice crispies with almond milk
    (10.30pm) Pre bed – 15g protein from whey, 5 whites, 100g banana, 10g nut butter

    Training Day – Weekends

    (10pm) Pre bed – 15g protein from whey, 5 whites, 30g nut butter

    Happy Fathers Day!

    So I had my check in with Corinne on Thursday- went very well. She’s very happy with the look right now, so that makes me smile ear to ear.

    15 weeks out YESTERDAY. AND I registered for the Ben Weider! So I’m locked in now ????

    I’ve been battling with niggles and pains for nearly 4 weeks now and just honestly feeling proper fucked from training etc, so Corinne has implemented 5 days rest starting Friday June 19th.

    That’s the day I took off work and went to see the Doctor/homeopath, which was actually an insightful experience- will update this evening as I still have to read my results properly.

    Cardio for next 5 days: 20mins LISS before Meal 1.
    8k steps a day ???? (I really need to stop moving and ACTUALLY rest)

    Diet for next 5 days:

    (3.30pm) Meal 4 – 150g chicken, 30g avocado, 150g sweet potato
    (7pm) Meal 5 – 150g chicken/turkey breast, 5g evoo, 40g pasta/rice
    (10pm) Pre bed – 15g protein from whey, 5 whites, 30g nut butter

    Weight dropped this week so we’ll see how things go this week with the rest. Hopefully drop some more from inflammation more so than fat so to speak.

    Ohhh mine HAS to be the plain ice cream sandwich thing that they used to sell years ago- maybe they still sell it now- I wouldn’t know ???????? I can’t remember what they are called exactly so I had to find a photo ????????‍♀️

    Hi Tim- thought I’d chime in here too. I read your log daily, and am quite excited to see how things progress for you since your back to some form of normality (If you can call what’s going on right now “normal”, but whatever..) I think the low days are kind of inevitable, but its just when it creeps up on you unexpectedly it makes you feel a little worse, if that makes sense? But I find that it makes me appreciate the “good” days a little more.
    Hope your doing better after the weekend and being around friends/family.
