    I saw your session on instagram Clare, how inventive! I’ve heard people using their sofas as leg presses too! I’m quite enjoying the creativity all of this has brought about

    Good morning world 🙂

    So currently still at work.

    Had a super session in the garage gym yesterday evening. Finally back doing rack pulls after my lower back told me to “F off” a few weeks ago. Managed to work up to 150kg x 5 which I was happy enough with. Started light (110kg) and worked up.

    Session went as follows:

    Banded Pull Ups x15, x12, x8- Progression! 🙂
    Rack Pulls x10,x8 (130kg x12, 140kg x9, 150kg x5)
    Seated cable row x8-10 (used close grip handle)
    SA Cable Lat Row x20 (26R/27L) Really focused on contraction, super slow eccentric and pause at top and bottom of the movement. OW.
    STRETCH
    Lying Cable Side Raises x12-15, x12-15
    High Incline BB Press x8-10, x12-15 … These I am not so happy with. They have been getting weaker and weaker each time I do them. So yesterday for my back off set I instead did DEADSTOP High Incline BB press. Think I’ll move forward with these. They’re harder, but felt better, if that makes sense?
    Overhead DB Tricep Extension x20. Haven’t done these in a minute- got 22.5kg x17 and 1/2 reps. again… OW… haha
    DB Lateral Raises x8-10 (did one warm up set of 17.5kgs, the a working set of 20kg x15)
    SA Cable Tricep Pushdown x15-20 (21R/21L)
    Cable Rear Delt Flys x15-20 (I was toast by this point)
    Ab Wheel roll outs x15, x13, x11

    This morning:

    Took measurements for my suit maker! Hoping to have it May time so I can get to practice posing in it. Honestly, its one of the small things keeping me going sometimes. I’m very excited about it, as I haven’t stepped on stage OR been IN a suit since November 2018, as a bikini girl.

    Did my first cardio session. Will go for a walk later as its supposed to be a nice day. Then food shop, prep food, more cardio, and perhaps some yoga and book reading 🙂

    Will attach a pic from this morning post cardio and a picture if the garage gym!

    Yes there are police patrolling everywhere now the last couple of days. I haven’t been stopped just yet, so I will continue to do so until I am ????????

    I don’t how much longer I’ll be able to do this- but I’ll keep on going until I’m not allowed/can’t.

    Have my check in today so we’ll see what Corinne days and I’ll keep you updated ☺️????

    Yeah just trying to keep as positive as I can???????? and remember that I have a roof over my head and safe place to be so I can’t be down about that ????❤️
    So I’m trying to base my home sessions to as close as my normal plan – my auntie has a few free weights, steps, bands and other bits that I can use! In my next check in with the bosses we will have more of a plan in terms of training but for now I’m making do with what tools I have!! Gyms here only closed Monday after I was due back to training after a week off which was so heart breaking but again anything to stop this virus ????❤️

    Oh that’s fantastic that you have some equipment and are able to follow your plan somewhat too. I’m currently trying to locate some equipment – it’s next to near impossible ???? currently having an hour and half’s drive to my friends home gym set up. But I’m making it work!

    Honestly that’s what I’ve been doing too any time I’ve been having negative thoughts- listing the things that I am grateful for. Like a roof over my head, a car to drive from A to B, and the ability to buy food right now also.

    Good morning from my desktop! So I made it to my friends gym garage yesterday evening on time thank goodness. Traffic wasn’t too bad- one plus from this whole thing going on right now 😀
    I actually had a really good session despite limited kit. Made the most of the 1hr and 1/2 I had there.

    Lying Leg Curl x8,x12 up in weight and matched last rotations reps 🙂 Very happy with this. His lying Leg curl machine is plate loaded and I added a resistance band for max tension at the top of the movement. Whatever way this machine is made it really hits my hams- like it stings like crazy!

    Safety Bar Squat x12, increase weight x 8.

    Paused BB Box Squat x8-12, x8-12, x20

    SLDL DB x10-12, x10-12

    DB Bulgarian Split Squats x15-20, x15-20 each leg

    Cable banded adductor x20 each leg

    Abs – Cable rope crunch x3

    Feeling it today!

    Made it back to my house at 10pm. Hit the last meal, read some of the books I’m enjoying at the moment.

    Up then this morning at 4:30am for 60mins LISS. 30 mins waiting for me when I get home again. Not going to lie I was pretty tired getting up this morning haha 😀

    So … show 1 postponed and likely the second show being aimed for to be postponed also. Flights out of Ireland to many European countries, as well as GB have been cancelled until the end of May and possibly June.

    Still awaiting blood results from doctors. Nearly two weeks now but I can’t exactly be angry with everything going on right now.

    I guess I’m just hear to update on the whole situation. All gyms still closed here in Ireland. Lucky enough that a friend has a pretty epic garage gym that I can utilize, but its an hour and halfs drive away from me. So leaving work this evening at 5pm- to be there for 6:30pm. I have access to the gym for an hour/hour and a half. 7:30/8pm. Eat in the car. Drive back home. 9:45/10pm. Eat last meal. 10:30/11pm. Sleep. Up again at 4:30am tomorrow for cardio. 60mins LISS. Then 30 mins LISS before bed also.

    I’m happy that I’m still prepping. Very happy. So much so that I catch myself grinning through cardio when it gets tough.

    But just frustrated about the unknowns of the future.

    Thank you for sharing Clare! I’m actually on my way to pick up a second hand multi gym so I’m going to give this a go for my next leg day ☺️ managed to grab a couple sets of dbs too.

    How does this impact your prep? Are you just going to wait until the quarantine is over to start or are you going to keep trucking on for June?

    Good morning everyone.

    So my show has been postponed to an undecided date. Literally just found out now.

    We move on. Aim for the next show date with is June. So 11/12 weeks out. We improvise, adapt and come in even better for this next show. That’s all I can do.

    Still doing cardio. Still following diet protocols.

    You must be getting super exited! I was going to catch a flight over to see you onstage, but Ireland have restricted flights in and out of the country .. I’ll be glued to a live stream!

    @lara-tasharofi you’re support means the world to me ???????? thank you! Hope your time off and recouperating after such a long hard prep is treating you well.

    Yesterday, I woke up. Did my cardio. And the did some yoga! My first doing it after saying I would start for YEARS. It was so difficult ????

    Packed up a lot of my stuff to go back home.

    Drove to the secret gym location- had an EPIC leg workout despite limited equipment. Ate my meals. Drive home.

    Played with the new pupper. Chats with Dad.

    Collapsed on the couch and then went to bed.

    Not a bad day ????????
