Today’s check in. 21 weeks out. Feeling very tight/sore caught up in my legs and back especially. Deep tissue massage needed badly. Anyways. Here’s today’s check in pictures.

Just after finishing training quads and oh my mother have mercy ????
I honestly didn’t have a lot of energy today after work. Had to work late, was on my feet all day, around 15,000 steps done before I began training or my cardio.
But needs must. Was determined to make this a good session. Well needed rest tomorrow though.
1) DB Bulgarian Split squats -Topset 62.5kg x10
Back off 57.5kg x 152) Leg Extension –
60kg x15
60kg x13
Triple Dropset3) Hack Squat-
Topset 200kg x 6 🙂
Back off 150kg x134) Close Stance Leg Press –
Set 1- 150kg x15
Set 2- 200kg x10 pain free! (Last time I did this it was like 5 reps and hurt my injury. Very happy here. Now to make it my warm up 🙂 )5) Calves x2 sets

Good morning everyone! So I thought I had a lucky escape from this sickness going around! But it seems like I have come down with it!! ???? making sure I’m drinking enough water and also taking cold and flu medication in hope that goes quicker!! X

Hi Clare- I’m aiming for 2 shows in Spain and one of Portugal. May 16th is the first one. And the other two are in June I believe.

I’m sorry about this Corinne. But 2020 is still going to a year that is beyond our imaginations. I’m so damn excited for you. Not many can say that they’re are competing at an IFBB pro show AND competing in powerlifting within the same year. (And with the time frame you’ve given- within 6 months of each other). You’re a force to be reckoned with Corinne. And I’m damn excited to see why you do this year. Show them.

Hi guys and girlies!! Had a good shoulder workout down at kings yesterday with big tim and big Damien! Spent the rest of the evening with family and taking today as a rest day. Feeling quite beat up from training so going to try and relax as much as possible today get some shopping done and then chill out in the evening! Have you guys had a good weekend?

Such a good pull session today ???????? bent over row hit for 6 reps at 110kg then 100kg x 10 and 70kg x 15!! Really happy with chasing the log book at the moment!! Also checked in with the bosses today and my weight is down, they are happy so I am happy!! We now push on!! No changes to diet just yet and still at zero cardio!! ????
You’re looking and your training is PHENOMENAL Rhea! I’m loving this and following along 🙂 hope you’re feeling just as amazing 🙂

I’m mostly pleased about my good morning strength jumping , it’s allowing me to brace much better in my smith squat , that I’m able to find lines that let me really use my strength , like my deadlift . I have always struggled with that in the squat , never been able to consistently squat 6 plates and over on a barbell because of my form breakdown , but on any given day without doing any pulls for months, could do 7 plates for 5-6 reps easily. Hopefully I can keep building the good morning so the smith squat can keep growing , 6 and a bit plates is very comfy now.

Hi Jordan, I’ve been doing good mornings on a hammer strength squat machine instead of barbell. Would love to know your opinion on them versus barbell. I understand that there’s a lot more bracing and what not with barbell, but the squat machine allows me to load the movement in a safe manner. Thank you ☺️

body was like mehhhh…..just a bit achey and stiff…BUT went well
seated ham – 2 sets
squats….165kg x 7….172.5kg x 5
hs leg press – 165kg each side x 11…185kg each side x 8
DB lying ham – this was actually down on the last time which was about 2 weeks ago…I don’t mind tbh, hams are less resilient and squats hit my hams hard, last time I had smith squats, so likely this exercise is just reduced by the use of BB squats….ill re set this number now – 2 sets
good morning – heavy set today..85kg x 8
single leg leg press – 2 sets
adductor – 3 sets, heavy today
leg raises
DC calves on the smith – 1 set
so today is rest day
getting my hair done this morning…long overdue! …but I really dislike how long it takes….why is it 3 hours? that’s absurd lol then off with mum for a bit for some Christmas shopping

Check in Day & Push Day
Happy with check in still at 60.4 so .1 up from last week. Sessions have all been good and strong, all meals have gone in a little easier than last week so that’s a positive. Looking at a show the first weekend in August which will be in Tampa
Session was strong today I added an extra 10kg to my incline chest for good numbers (session is attached)

I’m loving it to be honest. I never thought I’d be so happy with being in an improvement season for so long (November ’18 to current). I’m loving being and feeling strong and making progress with my lifts/logbook.
I’m hoping to compete may/June time. I saw from your previous posts that you are thinking of August time? I’m so excited to follow along ????[/quote]
I think with transition time is needed to make the improvements…we’ve been going for a similar amount of time.

Oh I agree 100%. I’m in no rush, so to speak, to get to where I want to be. Just enjoying the whole process while I can ☺️Oh my god same, I’m checking every day for it to be released ???? perhaps Denmark in May and then Spain in June? Perhaps later dates if needs be but that’s what I’m aiming for at the moment ???? x
