I’m assisted, 500 Test C, 300 Tren, 300 Mast P, (injectables are per week) 100 mg Winny, 100 mg Prov, and 80 mg Clen (orals per day and Clen cycles from 40 to 120 and then off) With 25mg of Exemestane per day and 80 mg of Nova per day. I started at this food and cardio level on 27APR and have only had a break for my first show 21MAY and was right back on plan 23MAY. The refeed is 5 meals of 4 ounces of fish or chicken breast with 300g of cooked Jasmine rice and 2 meals of 6 ounces of 93/7 lean beef with 200g sweet potatoes.

Imo that is way too many AIs has your coach given any reason as to why they’re being used at those sorta dosages?[/quote]He said it was to prevent water retention from high estrogen. I have run more test though on my own, with only taking AIs when I feel the estrogen. And that was never more than a couple per week.

Have you communicated all of the above with your coach and explained how you’re feeling and what you’ve been doing?

It’s very difficult to give advice and step on another coaches toes when they have the full picture of what they’ve been doing with a client previously.

Prep is tough and you will feel tired, have low mood and struggle to function at times and judging by your pics you do still need to push hard to be stage condition ready in 6 weeks, which is what I assume your coach is pushing for. However it sounds like you’re not coping and no show is worth jeopardising your relationships or physical and mental health for, so maybe you should consider moving your show date to a later one to give you some leeway and more time?

Ultimately though, you need to have an open and honest conversation with your coach.

Thank you Clare. I have told him about the dizziness/lightheadedness and being unable to complete my workouts. This has been going on the last three weeks and each time, he gives me a refeed 2-3 days after the incidents. I will try to more fully communicate to him tomorrow in my checkin form and when we talk afterwards. My wife admitted she is actually scared that she will find me dead or get a call about a car accident because she can see just how bad off I was. And you are right, this is a hobby and not worth losing my family, life or job over. As this is going, it will likely be my last show, since I’ve already paid for everything and I can go back to just enjoying training again and work towards 225.

I should probably add, though it maybe obvious, I don’t feel safe driving my kids or myself either. Trying to get back under control, I have added 80g of carbs, total, to my first meal of the day, immediately post workout and my second meal. So far, this seems to help.

Show day! I didn’t hit 198, so I will be competing in Heavyweight Division.

Well, it finally happened. After 3 weeks of down days, last Wednesday my calories got cut to 1500 per day while more than doubling my cardio. Fast forward to this past Wednesday and I was absolutely wrecked. No energy, moody, falling asleep at work and that led to a 3 lb weight spike, all while sticking to the meal plan. I should have communicated to my coach where I was at but I went off plan tonight. Tomorrow is 2 weeks from weigh ins for my show. At my low this week, I still had 10 lbs to lose. I see a lot of cardio and zero carbs and fats coming for my next 10 days.

Tomorrow I will be 4 weeks out from my show. Still work to be done but I like what I’m seeing.

Life has been very busy. Prep continues and is going well. Still focused on adding tissue. Diet is still one up day, one down day, repeat. To aid recovery, I’m now taking a 10 minute ice bath at least every other day. Otherwise, crushing my workouts, nailing my meal plan and doing all I can to recover. Just over 10 weeks until the show.

Crushed my quads today. Starting to see definition in them now, so even more motivation!
