Doesn’t matter if fasted or not cardio is just a way of getting more expenditure so cardio on its own will not burn bodyfat if you are not eating in a daily deficit.

As michael I am also a big fan of joe benett when it comes to explanation of movements.

Not optimal I would opt for another or faster digestable carb source but if you digest it well stick with it.
