Try to do something like an rdl or deadlift to start off then focus on leg exercises and maybe some pulldown variations.

Depends… if your body weight stalls keep it in if it‘s decreasing too fast cut it out.

    Hi Kevin,
what is your current routine looking like? Still more push than pull days and an extra arm/delts day?
What would you recommend in terms of lagging arms – what change/method (higher frequency, less/more volume, lower/higher reps, intensity techniques…) helped you the most bringing up your arms?

    Currently training
Push Legs rest push pull rest repeat if I don‘t recover
in time I just take a day more off. Doesn‘t bother me.
There is no real wrong or right thing to do with arms make sure the execution is perfect and hit them through a lot of angles. Try to really control the weight and don‘t swing it that‘s the best thing you can do really.

It depends if it works for you. Don‘t think about what others do .
Personally I think if something hurts you during an exercise check your execution first than think about using the belt 🙂

I am with Clare keep calories at maintenance and focus on getting back into the gym. Then you will see where things are at then decide to increase or decrease the calories.

It’s not always about upping the cals when you struggle with weight and getting all the food in. Giving yourself a few days off of the plan and rest help a lot when you struggle to put in the calories you need to consume to be in a surplus.

I would always go by feel don’t overdo it but also don’t hurry through your session.
If the heartrate and breathing is down you can go again this will differ from exercise to exercise
you won’t need much time between curl sets as much as you do between a deadlift for example

Try to implement more calf stretching into your routine, try to stay well hydrated and maybe a if you don‘t use it take some magnesium.
If this doesn‘t help check blood work and electrolytes.

I never implemented choclate into my routine but I don‘t think a few grams a day won‘t hurt you in an offseason I wouldn‘t prefer it in a contest diet though
