Nothing drastic, most of the time it’s mainly just water weight and just appearing softer. Within a week of normality they’ll usually come
Right back to where they need to be

Super busy day today, first day back on track and on plan. 6:30am start and it felt great to be back in a routine.

We had 2 apartment viewings today and one we liked so much that we went back this evening and put our deposit down on it and we move in next month. Super exciting and wasn’t planned but had worked out for the best.

It will be a busy few weeks with moving everything over but really looking forward to it.

Not much to catch up on today, our flight arrived at 8-‘am and we slept once we got back as we didn’t get any on the flight. We ordered our prep food / meat so we can start fresh and ready to kick off prep tomorrow and we picked up MR from our friends who were looking after him whilst we were away.

Travel day for us today. We headed up to Manchester, my dad kindly drove us and we left early but luckily we did as we got stuck in 3 separate traffic jams. We are now waiting to board the plane and should arrive in dubai for 7am (DXB time). It’s a pretty naff flight especially if we don’t get any sleep but I’m looking forward to getting back and seeing my puppy. Back into a solid routine on Monday!

Yes so hamstrings for me will be once a week. I like to stick to a medium – high rep range and drop sets on most sets.
I do a standing hamstring curl, seated and lying 8 heavier reps followed by 12 lighter reps for 3/4 sets.
That is all I do for hamstrings. Sometimes I will add a hamstring exercise onto a glute day or quad day during the week too.

Yesterdays session was great. Headed to Cojos for a quiet session, there is something about training in a private gym that makes it so much better. The ability to get on with your workout without being distrusted is amazing.

I was reunited with the smith machine and so spent the majority of my session using it. Started with heel elevated squats and then moved onto split squats. Finished off with hip press, leg extension, adductor and calves.

I assume you do hams on a separate day? How does a typical ham workout look like? 🙂[/quote]

Rest day for me today, packed my bags ready to head back to dubai tomorrow. Really excited to get back into routine, start my cut and get on plan. Max landed from Las Vegas a few hours ago and he’s also super excited to get back to normality.

Trained glutes today, it was a busy day and wasn’t sure I would fit a session in as the gym is a good 30 mins drive for me too. Luckily I got a pretty solid 4 exercises in for glutes which was more than enough to keep me ticking over.

Tomorrow max comes back from Las Vegas and on Saturday we fly back to the U.K. we are both starting a cut on Monday so I’m really excited to see how that plays out. I will of course be adding my food/PED usage (if any) and all other training info on here.

Keep metabolism firing. Eating foods that is optimal for you, that digests well and is full of micronutrients. Doing some form of regular cardio daily, and ensuring insulin sensitivity is kept high

Hi Jon, you are definitely in a good position to start a bulk (gaining phase). You are fairly lean here so dieting any further will be a waste of time. Get stuck into an off-season in my opinion.

Work it around your daily schedule and what fits best, some people prefer to eat smaller meals but more frequently and others can digest fewer meals in larger quantities just fine & it suit their daily schedule better. There are no massive benefits just preference.

Day of traveling today and glad it was just that as my glute/leg doms from yesterdays high volume lower session are serious. I am actually very surprised how my body responded to it and really like the fact it was hard for me. I may have to throw in a few more high intensity full lower body sessions here and there.

I am now in Cheltenham, seeing family until the weekend. So I will be training and cojos which is my absolute favourite gym. The equipment is incredible and I’m already dreaming about the smith machine 😂

Great day today, my friend has been staying with me who traveled down from Scotland and we worked for a few hours this morning, followed that with a coffee and a walk and then headed to EP jungle gym to train a whole lower day. It was great fun and the high volume and new machines kicked ass.

Tomorrow I am heading back to Cheltenham to see family for a while before I head back to dubai. So excited to see everyone, it’s been over 5/6 months for some family members.
