Awesome glute session today – FLF have a awesome smith machine and I was able to do my split squats on it again 😍 Binous doesn’t have a good smith machine, it’s super stiff and weighs about 50kg by itsself! Todays session was glute drive with a band, working up to 6 PPS. Then cable kick backs, smith machine split squats, abductor, glute machine kick backs, calves.

It’s actually such a nice day in Manchester today and my friend is coming down from scotland to see me so we’re going to go out for some food for the evening.

Glute day for me today, hit an awesome workout and was able to train on all the same pieces that i usually would plus another exercise as the gym i went to had a really decent smith machine. My usual routine consisted of glute kickback, heavy hip thrusts (but controlled), smith machine split squats, abductor and calves.

This evening i am catching up with some friends one is traveling from essex and the other from Leeds. It should be a really lovely evening.

Diet down and find out, that’s the only true way to know. Either way you’re at a stage now where a diet phase would be recommended so people’s opinions on now much muscle you may have built won’t make a difference to the outcome. Just have the potential to disappoint you potentially

I had such a great day today, a proper TLC day. I woke up and did 3/4 hours of work which took me up to 11am and then i headed into Manchester city centre for the day. I wanted to get a tattoo on my wrist for some time now but due to deadlifting never found the right time to get it as the straps i wear usually rub where i wanted it. I got it done today as i have no heavy lifting for a while. I then met up with a friend for coffee who i havent seen in over a year and we did some shopping. Usually i don’t buy much but i had a great shopping spree today and got some awesome new shoes which are really exciting as they are flat so i can use them to train in too. I just trained at the local gym to me today as it was an accessory day and i didn’t need anything specific. Powered through a session in 1.30hours.

165lb and 5ft 10 immediately screams to me that you need to increase body weight and eat more. Gain 20- 30lb without getting too out of control body composition wise and that will improve pretty much every lift.

Rest day from the gym for me, whilst i am back in the UK i am training every other day. I am only hitting lower body sessions whilst be only here so that is all that is needed. 2 leg days and 2 glute days a week.

i caught up on work for the majority of the day, saw a friend who i havent seen since last summer and went for coffee and that was mostly my day.

Tomorrow i am training glutes and hamstrings at FLF.

Great day today, honestly i was wiped out after the fitness expo at the weekend. I took both saturday and sunday off training and very glad i did. I am staying in Manchester for the rest of the week and today i trained at Front line Fit here in Manchester. It’s an awesome gym, i haven’t trained there since 2018 and it has changed a lot since then. I hit a legs session and i really loved the leg extension and the hamstring curl machine they have. The hip press machine was also awesome and very humbling as i can stack the one we have at Binous but here i maxed out at 3 plates.

Wow, what a weekend. Finishing up at Fitx expo and it’s been 2 very long, tiring days but also 2 awesome days filled with fun, laughter and a lot of chatting. It was amazing to have most of the team all in one place, all on one stand and we had a great time meeting loads of athletes from all round the U.K.

I think I speak on behalf of all of us when I say we are all knackered. I didn’t train this weekend but will be back on it tomorrow night.

Try it and see how you feel! Some people do better on higher fat lower carb and vice versa, so trial and error is your best approach

Whole day of traveling for us today! We were up at 4am and at the airport for 5am. Flight took off at 7am and we landed at 12pm (UK time). We were meant to train this evening but we were absolutely exhausted. We decided to head into Manchester to grab a few essentials and then we came back and caught up on work. It is now 7pm for us here but 10pm back home. Excited to see everyone tomorrow at the expo 🙂

Cyclic dextrin is always a good addition for those who struggle to gain weight.

A busy day ahead for me, woke up early and did a few hours work, going to finish packing and head to the gym to train glutes for 2pm with my friend Carol. We havent trained together yet but have wanted to hit a session for a while and we both have glutes today so should be good fun. I will probably follow her workout and see what she likes to do as i always like to get an insight into other peoples training/styles and exercise choices. We leave for the airport around 4/5am tomorrow so will be an early night for us. We are planning to hit a leg workout tomorrow evening in Manchester before a manic weekend at the expo. It should be great fun im looking forward to it.

Runners stomach is common. You’ll have to nail down the cause between digestion issues or hydration and electrolyte and see which one it may be

Rest day for me today. I had another round of full body laser hair removal this morning at 11am and pleased to say it was no where nearly as bad as the first time round. The women who did it actually admitted to burning me around the bottoms of my legs and there is hyperpigmentation from the burns but luckily they are very faint and I’m not too bothered about them. Scary that she didn’t know that the first time when I was practically calling out in pain telling her it didn’t feel right.

Todays experience was still uncomfortable but no where near as bad. No training after laser so I decided to do some work and make a start on packing my bag. We only have tomorrow and then we leave around 5am on Friday morning and head to the U.K.
