Awesome leg day today, i know i have raved about it before on another post but i can’t recommend the pre workout DNFM enough! It’s definitely not a pre workout for the lighthearted but if you are into your pre workouts and you have some intense training sessions in the week i definitely recommend getting a tub! I used one scoop today , takes about 20 mins to kick in so i take it when i get to the gym and start warming up for squats, it then kicks in around my top set and carries me through the whole session on an awesome high.
I managed 130kg x 20 today on squats which i was so buzzing about, the last 2 reps were ugly so i plan to take that set maybe twice more, perfecting my depth and form on all reps and then i will post it on my IG or on here!
backdowns were still pretty brutal! 120kg x 20 / 110kg x 20 and 100kg x 20.

Rest day today, my body is slowly getting used to the increased volume and increase in leg/glute sessions. 3x per week for both is a lot to take on board when there is little recovery. I started out by needed 4 days between glute days and now I’m pretty set to hit them again 2 days after maybe 3 if I’ve trained with someone and they’ve put me through my paces.
Today I had a pretty shitty pain down the right side of my calf. Definitely caused my squatting with no squat shoes and applying pressure to the outside of my foot. I’m certain it’s just a strain but I’m glad today was a rest day as it wasn’t feeling the best.
Tomorrow I hit legs again and plan to move up to 130kg for working sets on squats!

It’s hard to make a decision based on bloods when immediately after you’re going on test E before you’ve rectified your out of whack blood levels.
Get updated bloods, see where the test E is putting your bloods at now. See if it’s estrogen or prolactin or even both now elevated.
Ps5 does reduce prolactin but only if it’s not too out of range – it can only do so much

Glute day today and I’m not going to lie they still felt battered from my glute session on Monday 😂 I still trained them hard and mind muscle connection was great due to them being a bit sore so that was a bonus. The gym was especially busy today so I was in a headphones on get work done kinda mood. As soon as the headphones come off it gives people a chance to speak to you and I didn’t really fancy that today 😂

Full gland removal is impossible to do, there will always be some glandular tissue left, However it most likely will be so minuscule that isn’t worth worrying about

Epic leg session today – it was by myself as I gave max really bad sea food food poisoning last night after reheating some prawns that had already been cooked and heated once 😩. He has been Ill all day and didn’t have the energy for deadlifts so stayed here to recover. I headed off for a leg session which went really well, squats are flying now and time to move up in weight to 130kg for sets and reps! My body weight has stayed the same since coming back from Tokyo. I actually lost weight in Tokyo so managed to get back to 80/81kg and my body is very happy here so plan to stick around this weight for the next few weeks whist training is going well and I’m not hungry or over eating.

Leave ample time for it to heal, and then you can resume hip hinge movements. Just ensure form is on point, and the weight progressions are sensible and manageable

I believe the metabolites in urine can be used to test to carbon isotope differences, however this is expensive, and is not normally done for standard tests

My glutes were even worse today which I knew was going to be the case but I had a day to get used to the pain so i soldiered on.
I’ve arranged to train glutes again with Cynthia next week as she has a few more exercises and techniques she wants to show me and I’m definitely not going to miss that opportunity after how my glutes responded this time round. I also have one of the strongest women in Britain coming over to dubai so we are going to get a squats and leg session in while she’s here which will be awesome to film and show to you guys.

For example many CrossFit athletes eat pizza and other foods which arnt considered particularly healthy many times a week! – they can afford to do that because their energy expenditure is so high

So Legs was meant to be on the agenda today but considering i cannot sit down or squat without A LOT of muscle pain i decided it best to train some upper and take it as a semi rest day! Yesterday absolutely fried me, my friend is Brazilian and has trained with Angela Borges and a lot of other top wellness olympians and she has a very different very extreme way of training which is totally different to what i am used it. It was very refreshing, humbling and rewarding to be able to train with her and give her style a go! I can’t say it was enjoyable as such but it definitely did a good job of killing me off and making me ache today. I will also be taking a few exercises, pointers and advice from the session and applying it to my own glute sessions going forward.
Im planning on training legs tomorrow now and pushing up on my squats again 🔥

Meg has absolutely hit the nail on the head with this one.
If you want to step away from counting macros/calories completely but still want to train continuously that’s absolutely fine However, If you have goals in the gym such as muscle gain then tracking macros isn’t such a bad idea.
No need to be OTT about it but just a rough idea of what you’re putting in your body is something I’d advise anyone to.

Currently eating my pre workout and then heading off to the gym to train glutes with a friend of mine who is also a wellness competitor and in incredible shape! i plan on filming the workout but the plan is:
calves
smith machine split squatts / dumbell super set
smith machine glute kick backs
cable glute kick backs
side kicks
abductor
single leg RDLS
seated hamstring curl
Really looking forward to it but its way later than i would usually train and reckon i will be done and back by 10pm ish.

I open the DNFM pre workout today and to be honest i have been putting off trying it because i haven’t had any crazy big sessions that i thought were an acceptable reason to use it for. I took one scoop for legs today and i was BLOWN AWAY! i absolutely loved the Pre stim pre workout but wow this hit different and my squats absolutely flew.. It was such a sick workout over all and an added bonus was that i didn’t get a bad come down from the pre workout either. Highly recommend and 1 scoop for me was just perfect.
The rest of the day consisted of work, walking Mr and then our friends came over in the evening and we had a great catch up and chatted for 6 hours 😂
