Last day in the U.K. today as we head back to dubai tomorrow thank god. I love the U.K. but we only recently left it after being here for nearly 4 months over the summer. We came back for some housing bits we needed to physically sort and it worked out perfectly as Maxs family needed extra help moving house. So we were able to spend some time with them and also visit the south coast.
Today I went to the garden centre with my mum. This month is especially difficult for her as we have lost both my grandparents within a year of each other and used to spend Christmas as a family every year till now. So we had a nice girly day away from the gym because there are things more important in life, family being one of them ♥️

Quite a few people are struggling to reach them for a few weeks now, if it was just website maintenance I’d have suspected it to have been rectified by now.

Just enjoy these next couple of years, eat, grow, build a strong foundation and add in some regular cardio whether that be some type of aerobic sport or not for CV health.

Flights booked back to dubai for Friday. I do love the thought of cold weather and winter months here celebrating Christmas and being festive but I love the idea of wearing shorts and a baggy T, chilling by a pool a bit more. Although I can actually count on one hand how many times I’ve chilled round a pool since moving to dubai 😂.
My parents have also booked to fly out on Christmas Day so that will be so nice. To spend the new year with them and do some cool things now that the weather over there is spot on and cooler than the summer months. We have an exciting December ahead.

Nice chilled day today, we went for a walk along the beach before driving back to to Cheltenham this afternoon. It sounds a lot nicer than it was because it was absolutely freezing and max and I are used to being in the Dubai heat haha. It was as nice as it could be for this time of year though.
We had a rest day today as it was past 6 when we got back and I don’t know what it is about the winter months but I have to get my sessions in early before it’s dark otherwise I have 0 energy. It’s not really too much of an issue in dubai but in the U.K. it really effects me every year. Let me know if you get this too! -
I agree get into a leaner start Point, the key to a great gaining phase is to be able to progress sustainably over a prolonged period of time.

A pretty quiet few days for me on social media and it’s actually been really nice to take some time away. It’s not been intentional it’s just been because I have just been busy with helping family move house but it’s been great to spend some quality time together and nice to know we could help out even though most of the year we are in Dubai.
Got an upper session in today, tried some light bench upto 70kg which felt good and trained shoulders and back after benching. The equipment isn’t the best up here and I’m excited to get back to Cojos for a few sessions before heading back to dubai on the weekend.

Functional training is quite hard to programme yourself initially, as there can be a steep ramp in difficulty. I’d look at purchasing a CrossFit training programme that begins from beginner to intermediate and so on.

Long drive down to the south coast today, max and I took one van and and Maxs dad took the other. We manage to move everything in one trip which was a relief and we are staying here for a couple of days before flying back to Dubai.
We haven’t eaten incredibly well today, I doubt I hit my macros but we did get a late training session in that we’ve only recently come back from. Luckily we found a 24 hour gym which wasn’t great but got the job done and I was able to get in a decent glutes and hamstring session in. -

Nothing too exciting from me today, max and I were both helping his dad move out until late yesterday so today we took a much needed rest day to catch up on work and have some chill time. We are planning to get an early session in tomorrow or maybe a very late one depending on how tomorrow pans out.

Everyone has hit the nail pretty well on the head here.Ultimately you just need to try it. If it works for you then stick to it if not you can move onto the many other options people have suggested.

Busy day today so far, we caught one last session up in Manchester and got back to Cheltenham for midday. We’re currently catching up on some work and then we are heading over to Maxs dads to help him start packing. Not my favourite way to spend a Friday night but it is family so I can’t complain. I think mine and Maxs jobs are to carry the heavier objects to the van and skip. So many we should have left training today and just use this As our weights session 😅

I have one that is a bit like a sleeping bag that you lie in, works very well and can recommend it it’s from MI HIGH.
