Awesome session today, headed over to our coaches gym and go in a great squat session.
Still working on the high reps and building my stamina back up to what it was about a year ago.

20 rep squats are no joke and when the weight starts sneaking up those last 5 reps feel like death. I know that if I can make it to 10 without feeling like I’m slowing down then usually I can finish the set to 20. But a lot of the time it’s a mind over matter thing and the fact I’ve done them for a while means my legs are ready to give up after 8 reps!

We are heading back to Cheltenham as we’ve planned to help Max’s dad move house and stay for a few days as we won’t get to see them for a while now. They’re moving down to the south coast so pretty far out of our tracks for when we come back to the U.K. to visit.

No issue, condition still is very good. In instances like this in the future, just look at your condition in check in photos and see if there has been a noticeable degrade from the previous week indicating weight gain has been too fast. – if not then you’re fine.

Rest day today after such a long day yesterday. We actually crashed early around 10pm and unknowingly slept in till 8am as my phone didn’t change and therefore died meaning my 6.30am alarm didn’t go off and we woke up at 8am instead.
I had my hair scheduled to get done today which is a full day job or at least it feels like it. It usually takes around 5 hours to get it done which is quite a long time but it lasts me 3 months so the time is worth it for me.

I think we are also going to head out for sushi tonight with one of our close friends who lives up this way. We are indecisive between sushi and a nice steak place but I’m sure Whatever we get will be spot on.

Tomorrow we are going to head to our powerlifting gym up here and catch up with the guys over there as well as get a big workout in.

One of the main things that doing full body was about for less advanced individuals is skill acquisition, and the ability to perform a movement and get proficient at it every quickly as you’re doing it over and over multiple times a week. This works welll for beginners, and provided you log book you’ll progress nicely.

I say pretty often ‘busy day today’ but I feel like today gave a new meaning to that phrase!
We were up at 5am to drive 3 hours to Sheffield for a 9am appointment to complete on 3 of our houses. We then drove back and headed straight to Cojo’s for a leg session. Then we got back with some decent time to spare maybe 2 hours before we headed to the train station to catch the train up-to Manchester. Currently writing this whilst being sat on the second train and should get in for around 8:30/9pm this evening.

Done our fair share of traveling today but it’s been productive and I am definitely ready for a good nights sleep.

It was also so so nice to use the equipment at Cojo’s again, nothing quite comes close to the smith machine there and killed of the quads with some 20 rep super heel elevated smith squats.

A lovely day in the U.K. today, it rained from 6am till now and has been gloomy and dark all day 😅 I absolutely love the month of December but I really dislike the cold, wet months either side. Also isn’t great that I don’t own a coat so I’m living in multiple JP hoodies, yes multiple haha.

We got messed about today and were meant to be heading to Doncaster to sign some work documents but it was moved to tomorrow at 9am. So we are now up at 5:30am to hopefully get there for around 9am. Hopefully we won’t be too tired and can stop by Cojos on the way back for a quads session.

You’ve said your chest has grown massively over the last few years but still remains a weakpoint. This will likely be the case no matter what you do, unless you start stripping back volume from other more developed bodyparts to allow chest to catch up.

    Traveled the entire day today.
Touched down back in the U.K. a few hours back and drove to my parents. Tomorrow we are off to Doncaster to sign some important bits for housing business and that is basically what we came over for as it had to be done in person.

Luckily our favourite gym in the world is here so hopefully we hit decent traffic and we get their smoothly and back with time to spare for some training at Cojos tomorrow.

Main ones are there but I’d also add in seeds too, sunflower, chia, pumpkin, hemp ect, tonnes of micronutrients in and fibre too as well as fats.

Such a good quad workout today! Hit squats first and did 120kg 2x20reps followed by a back down set of 100kg for 20reps. I was knackered after that but I had such a good pump (courtesy of the squats but also the pump pre workout). I then hit a 4.5PPS hip press for 2 sets of 20 reps before lowering the weight and focusing on single leg which hits different! The rest of the workout consisted of calves, leg extension and adductor. All high rep ranges and a significant weight. Nothing was easy haha.

Heading back to the U.K. tomorrow so it will be a rest day for me but I’m so excited to train at Cojos!

Could be the solvents used as opposed to carrier oil. Your body could have developed a dislike to benzyl alcohol or benzyl benzoate – makes sense as it symptoms reduce when you mix compounds together – perhaps diluting the concentration of BA / BB.

Maintaining your insulin sensitivity is key, so whilst I don’t expect you at your age to go straight into the diet and then growth phases yet, i highly recommend adding in some frequent cardio whilst young as it will I still good practise and aid you as you grow.

Hit the gym solo today as max has an extra rest day after pulling 310kg x 3 yesterday. I know this log is about me but a huge part of me is my partner Max (he’s an educator on here and I’m sure you’ve seen him answer a question or two. Super excited for him to have started his strength training journey after years of being ‘that strong guy’ in bodybuilding. He’s been on a strength training program for 10 weeks now and before then hasn’t squatted or deadlifted since he was 16/17.

So the fact he’s already repping 300kg + benching 200kg + and squatting 270kg + at u125kg Bw is mental. He definitely has the chance at taking some British records if he keeps going. Any way he took a well deserved rest day and I went and trained some upper and glutes.

Some pump work on shoulders, triceps and a little bit of back followed by my whole glute workout. My shoulder felt good but it always does when I’m pissing it off with over 90/100kg in weight.

Tomorrow is our last session in the Dubai for a bit. Heading back to the U.K. Sunday .. not looking forward to the U.K. but being able to train at cojos makes it better haha.

I’d say you’re at a very decent standard of conditioning where pushing any more would start taking away from any benefits you may attain. – starting to reverse back up slowly would be my option.

Hamstring day today, still getting used to having a whole day dedicated to just hamstrings but it’s feeling good and being forced to focus on them will only be a good thing in my pursuit growing my lower body.

I’ve progressed to 85kg for 1 working set on single leg RDLS today which are brutal. I then decreased back to down to 75kg and did 2 more sets of 10 at that weight. It’s hard not to find hamstring day boring for me because 1. I dislike training them and 2. I struggle to connect with them so it takes a lot of focus throughout the session to work that mind muscle connection.

The exercise selection I have is small but they are the ones I connect with and feel so I’m just repping them too death.

It’s been really nice to take a step back from the heavy weights and let my body have a really nice rest.
