The pain i feel from my 2 split leg sessions are crazy. I mentioned yesterday that i haven’t trained like a bodybuilder in some months so its been a while since i trained with so much volume and intensity and just the movements in general. I am walking funny today but i love it haha. I am doing an upper session tomorrow and thinking about doing an incline chest press instead of bench.

You have to think logically, JP didn’t just jump into this training off the bat, it was over a period of many years, whilst simultaneously getting his connective tissue strength up at the same time. What makes it so jarring is the weights he was throwing about, anyone who’s doing those weights would likely get those comments about them, that’s just an observation from the outside of people that are strong

Also don’t forget, Jordan has had his fair share of injuries and things have snapped. His quad, adductor ect. And many other injuries along the way, so he didn’t get off unscathed.

Followed yesterdays quad focused session with a hamstring and glute session today.

    RDLS 3 x 10
    Seated hamstring curl 3 x 8
    Split squats 3 x 10
    Glute drive 4 x 8-10.
    Calves 3 x 8

My hand still hasn’t settled and after speaking to my PL coach and Calum we are nearly ready to pull the plug on this meet prep and reschedule for later on in the year. My hand needs a operation and unless it wants to significantly improve by itsself then I don’t see how I’m going to pull any where near what I wanted.

I was going for total so when 1/3 lifts is significantly effected it makes me rethink if the competition is worth it right now and for me personally the answer is no. I’m not 100% sure yet so I will keep everyone undated once I know myself.

It’s been reported in a few people, it’s similar to nilutamide, and Interstitial pneumonitis has been reported in 2% of patients in controlled clinical trials in patients exposed to nilutamide.

Be careful, RU58841 is a research drug and does come with potential dangers.

Leg day today! Hand still playing up so I switched to a bb style leg session and did
Leg press, squat machine, adductor, leg extention and calves. Absolutely knackered afterwards but felt good to be back doing some heavy BB movements.

I went to see the hand specialist today who has put me on the waiting list to have the 3 fingers in my right hand operated on. He’s given me a 2 month waiting time which isn’t amazing so I may get it done in dubai.

Trained upper today including bench. Bench seems fine, gripping the bar is fine also it’s just when I tighten my hand around the bar it starts to play up. Manageable for bench but not too sure Low bar squat and especially deadlift are going to go. I’m training legs tomorrow with the intention to squat so will see how that goes. I’ve also got my appointment with the hand specialist tomorrow too!

If I’m honest and I don’t like to beat around the bush. If this isn’t sorted in the next week I will be knocking this meet on the head. Many will
Disagree and tell me to go and do it anyway but that’s not me. I need to know I can give it my absolute best and 100% otherwise I won’t achieve what I want because I know my chances have already been limited. I don’t do things to take part,
I do it to win but we have a few
Options and things to try the next few days.

Sometimes there’s not a lot you can do about acne if you’re prone to it on exogenous hormones. Even having the best hygiene practices it can still remain.

Try the recommendations above but also be aware that it might just be something that continually occurs.

Accutane at low doses 10mg a day is a very viable last resort.

Not too much to catch up on today, took today as a rest day as I’ve traveled for the best part of it and did cardio this evening. Tomorrow I’ve got a leg session planned in the evening and hoping to see a bit of an improvement in my hands.

Cannot say we are a fan of the heat 😂 at least in dubai we had air conditioned rooms, here we are melting. We have just ordered an air con unit for the bedroom so thankfully we will get a decent night sleep.

It’s fine to use, only thing that can happen is more pip if any of the compound degrades and becomes slightly acidic. But you can usually tell with the colour.

Go by scale weight and what you look like in the mirror and modulate your diet to that. Whilst you should refrain from heavy lifting, you can still get steps in and light activity, so you won’t be completely incapacitated.

Not a good day for me today. To be honest I like to stay really positive about things but today has been the first time I’ve thought ‘fuck, is this going to affect my comp’.

I’ve woken up with really swollen hands the last 2 days and I have been suffering with trigger finger for some weeks. However today they were so bad we made a trip to a&e.

We waited for 5 hours for them to confirm that it was trigger finger (which we already knew). They offered a steroid injection in 3 of them but I’ve already had that done 4 years ago before getting surgery because it didn’t work.

I am seeing a hand specialist on Thursday which is the earliest appointment, I’m really hoping it improves because right now I can’t wrap my hands around the bar to bench press let alone deadlift.

I really hate to be negative but it’s just really quite shit. Last year I tore my erector 13 days before my comp and now this.

Im going to try and stay positive and going to squat tomorrow.

Hands are playing up like mad today, had been a problem for the past few weeks since we switched all my deadlift sessions to grip but did think the heat in Dubai were causing them to be a lot worse.

I have suffered from trigger finger before which resulted in halving surgery on my left hand. The problem was gone for 4 years and had now come back in both hands.

I’m going to monitor it over this next week and hope It improves.

Had a rest day today, meant to squat but have changed my days around as i am not here on Monday and want a squat day followed by a bench and deadlift day which will be Saturday and Sunday.

Today we went for a super long walk, over 15k steps in one walk and we ended up carrying the pup half way though because he was knackered and we didn’t expect him to walk all that way anyway. Will be reducing my cardio this evening though as i don’t need to over do it on the cardio right now as we are in a very good place.

I’d consult your doctor with anything to do with anti depressants – there are a whole host of Different ones that you may be more suited to, it all a trial and error situation; that may take a while to find your optimal protocol.
