    yayyyy great pull/leg session today ! beside that nothing special happened, it was a rainy sunday in Austria so I just wrote some training setups for clients, watched some good movies and prepped my food for the next days 🙂 happy to have my routine back 🙂

    Rest day for me 🙂 nothing special happened did my cardio, work (gym) and know back home to my little family ????
    Tomorrow is leg day, so excited, finally back to my routine

    Back to work and yes I haven’t slept enough, I guess 4-5h ????
    After work I went to the cosmetics and fall asleep for 1,5 hours haha pretty cool! Upper body session wasn’t that good, energy was low, what a surprise, next time I’ll do better. Tomorrow work again ????

    rest day, fasted cardio with stomach vaccuum and rev crunches, now sitting here and planning the next couple weeks.. lots of work to do but I´m so happy to be back at work and back to my training routine 🙂

    Happy Monday ????
    So I’ve been feeling just generally un well the last two weeks, especially the past week and I just could put my finger on it. Because I had changed nothing- in terms of diet, medicine, training, etc. And its been getting to me mentally more so than anything because when I feel unwell physically, it just totally messes with me mentally.
    Anyways, I was doing my few bits of grocery shopping Saturday after my lower session (which went OK- not great…) Picked up my usual mustard and as I always do, just instinctively now (as I have coeliac disease and pretty bad IBS) and saw that the ingredients label on my favourite mustard, that I HAVE BEEN USING for the last 2 WEEKS now has WHEAT FLOUR in it.
    No wonder I’ve been feeling like absolute shit. And its been all my usual symptoms of when I get poisoned with gluten- I should have realized. Brain fog, major water retention, drowsiness, headaches, extra sore joints, skin problems/irritation, not to mention all the bloating, distention, irregular bowel movements. I get super weak in my sessions and can’t connect at all with any movements. Which had been happening, but to a greater extent this weekend.
    All of the above had been affecting my sessions without me really realizing the past week or so and now I know why.
    Its just super frustrating when you are trying to do everything 100% right and then something so small like this impacts so greatly on my performance and look.
    Anyways, now I know. And I can start to feel better sooner rather than later.
    So with my session not being as great as I wanted it to be, I threw on my squat shoes and said “HEAVY SINGLES SOUND LIKE A GREAT IDEA”. lol. I was caught for time also as I was training at my friend’s garage gym, so I had like 60 seconds rest between the following, after doing 115kg x11 on the safety bar squat:
    110kg
    115kg
    120kg – all time PB ???? could have been a touch deeper but with how shit I was feeling I’m very happy :’)

    Had the possibility to train today so I changed my plans, legs today 🙂

    -Leg extensions
    -standing legcurls
    -lying lecurls (DB)
    -smithmachine squats
    -single leg legpress
    -rev lunges
    -glute ham raises

    Hi Lara. Out of interest do you take anything else pre cardio with pre stim such as eaas or just the pre stim ? Kind regards

    Hi Adam !

    Currently I add join in (trainedbyjp nutrition) & glutamine to the pre stim ????

    I only use EAAs during my workout 🙂

    I’m a coffee lover but I know a lot of people, myself too, who can’t tolerate larger amounts.
    Currently I’m drinking the pre stim from trainedbyjp nutrition (half of the stated amount) pre fasted cardio

    Ahhh forget to log on yesterday’s rest day , maybe because nothing really happened ????????
    Yesterday it was rainy and rest day so what should I say staying at home, relaxed and did a little bit of cardio ????

    This week I’m not able to train as usually so I switched my routine from 4 times to 3 times, means today was upper body and on Thursday legs, next upper body workout will be on Friday.

    Thanks for the response Clare!
    I have used this set up a week now and weighed myself this morning and gained 2lb! However I look and feel as if body fat has dropped.
    My workout intensity has increased due to investing in heavier weights and increase load rather than doing mainly high rep and and body weight stuff so could be increased water retention due to inflammation from DOMS or possibly gained back some of the lost muscle mass due to lockdown? God knows.
    Will persevere another week, track weight and adjust calories or energy expenditure if no change.
    Thanks for the advice

    Water retention from higher training intensity could cause this, I would wait another week, if weights still goes up than adjust calorie intake !
