Just finished up a late night (for me) upper-body loading session. I’ve not trained in the late PM for quite a while until this week and in all honesty it’s pretty fun. The only downside is no Dial In – 350mg caffeine at 8pm isn’t the brightest idea since I’m sleeping soon after. 1.5 scoops of Pumpage went down a treat today though. Steps still high but nothing that impacts upper body work really. All in all a good one today!

Super busy day again today so grateful for the rest day! Bodyweight bang on 76kg again today – I expect it’ll creep down a tad this week with expenditure so high but I’m holding off until next week at least because so far I don’t actually see any signs of BW dropping

Absolutely jam packed last few days with work has left me with not much time other than work train sleep repeat without much in between. Bodyweight holding steady at 76kg on the dot and recovery feeling on the money considering how busy I’ve been. I’ll definitely be bumping food up next week as average steps have come up considerably.

Rest day definitely needed today. Weighing in at 75.8kg early this morning which is pretty average atm. Recovery wise I’m a bit battered from yesterday’s session but nothing that’ll impact training upper tomorrow morning. I spent most of today behind a desk working so got some steps in this evening on a walk with my dog.

Another long day in the books today – early lower session this morning with some surprisingly good RDL progressions taken across both sets – especially considering I’m not used to training as early as 6am. I’ll definitely need the rest day tomorrow because I’ve got another long day with an early start with the work I’ve got going on at the moment.

Busy day in the books today – trained early this morning because I had a lot on with work for most of the day. Steps were a lot lower than I expected so hit some steps this evening on the treadmill in my garage – not something I usually do when it’s nice out but it’s been a bit of a time crunch so needs must. Early start tomorrow with lower on the menu.

Sitting pretty light this morning at 74.9kg for no real reason other than a lot of rest yesterday. I’ve got one more rest day today so I can properly shake this cold before next week which is a busy one for me. Food staying the same going into next week – I expect I’ll need to bump it up a tad after next week because I’m expecting steps to be pretty high with what work I’ve got going on.

Upper loading went down a treat yesterday – some lovely progressions on db bench and db shoulder press in particular. In fact I think I’m pretty close to my strongest ever now for shoulder pressing work which is pretty neat since is probably my weakest point strength wise. Still not quite shaken off whatever it was that I caught so I’ve got a rest day today with a bit of desk work and then an impromptu Mario Kart tournament tonight.

Lower MRs went surprisingly well yesterday – quite happy I maintained loading and reps across the board with a few progressions on ham curl. Most of the day after that was pretty much all client work plus a walk with my dog. Definitely feeling it today but not surprised there. I’ve got upper loading this morning and then another day at my desk. Bodyweight down a little today but nothing surprising after legs 75.65kg.

Double update today – I’m not having the best of luck with getting sick at the moment. I’ve been sick with whatever flu has been going around. I took a few days off the gym both for my own sake and for the other members. Upper muscle rounds were hit a few days ago but I went downhill from there. I’m sticking with the usual schedule and will have lower MRs today – actually a shorter session so I’ll see how I fare! BW still sat comfortably at 76kg which is a win after a few days off.

Lower loading in the books today went down a treat – no sign at all of any hip or knee niggles that were creeping up on me last week. Progressions taken mainly through reps added on final sets where I wasn’t quite knocking on the door of failure – so a fun one really! Bodyweight sitting at 76kg so not much to write home about there – appetite leaving me with plenty room for more food so I’ll look at bringing it up a tad next week if I don’t push past that 76kg mark soonish.

A little lighter this morning sitting at 75.8kg but nothing to write home about there. A busy day with most of it spent on public transport going back and forth with my car still waiting on repairs. Upper muscle rounds made for a smashing session – strength is just continuing to climb across the board with little sign of slowing. Honestly the only limitation on load increases so far has been me choosing to be conservative if I’m worried and joints are feeling iffy but things are looking and feeling great at the moment.

Woke up bang on 76kg this morning so pretty happy with that. Rest day and some time with the family celebrating birthdays AND pancake day meant food was adjusted a bit today but still sticking to the usual structure. 20 min Liss in the morning as usual and pretty high steps running some errands because I’m still waiting on my car repair.

Lower loading went down a treat today – RDLs feeling surprisingly good considering BW was down 800g or so. I expect it’ll be back close to 76kg again tomorrow so not overly stressed about that. The rest of the day was pretty laid back – mostly laptop work with clients and 20 mins of LISS in the early AM.

A LONG day of travel today with steps pretty high too – and a rest day from training. The good news is my hip is feeling absolutely fine again so I’ll be hitting lower without any amendments next time it comes round. I expect weight to be pretty light tomorrow morning after all the travel but I’ll likely keep food the same and let things level out with my usual routine before considering any changes.
