So I have had a very productive few weeks with training. Lifts are continuing to go up as is my body weight, both very happy about. Health is still holding up well with it all aswel so all in all going very well at the moment. Have to keep it slow and steady still for few more weeks until next cardiology appointment. They have made it clear what they want from me however not all to realistic. They would want me to be around 90kg as they see this as a healthy weight for me but this isn’t realistic in my eyes not year round any way

So it has been a great week of training. Have really found those extra carbs intra workout being put to good use as strength has gone up. Have always been pretty strong however always has been my thought process in life to be the hardest worker but that being said I do love lifting heavy as possible. Weight has now gone up to finally! Really need to be careful with how fast and high I push this as my heart seems to struggle the heavier I get. Hopefully new pacemaker will be able to help this time round but will see.

Last nights leg workout was very good. Strength is slowly picking up again, micro progression but still great getting rep range up and weights up on lifts. Terrible night sleep though woke with cramps in my calf and hamstring and because me heart rate is on the low side at night time it can drop very low, which can cause me to have paralysis like symptoms for what feels like hours but in reality is more like 30sec to min long. Afterwards always hard to get back to sleep.
Rest day today low carb higher in fats. Just can’t ever be to low on carbs as being a trades man I need the energy and higher fats great for me for first two meals but after that we’ll I need the carbs to function.

Yea was thinking the same Clare probably introduce intra carbs again now. Currently 70% of daily carbs around workout window with a 3:1 carb to protein ration post workout so currently 150g carbs 50g pro post. Will add 30g into intra and go from there I think

Also I guess last night was a massive step forward for me as I have never posted an individual picture of myself. My anxiety is very much a social problem and although I get on with a lot of people it does take me a long time to really open up and be comfortable. I’m always the guy in the gym in baggy clothes hoodie on regardless the weather and keep to myself. I rely on my training partner for the most part to interact with people until comfortable enough. Been big problem over the years but trying to improve in all aspects

Morning weight dropped today by 2lb. Metabolism is on fire at the moment. I’m a creature of structure (my wife says ocd) so just trusting the process at the moment. Higher carb day today for leg workout tonight. Suppose the question is how long does someone leave it until they adjust there macros? I think it is important to really try and solidify at a weight so not to get to fluffy but still noting in a deficit anymore so should progressively go up as it would down in a cut. I listened to the real bodybuilding podcast and the episode was with Brandon curry. Enjoyed the talk, and he credited his late success on not only just that motion of solidify at a weight and growing in time but also feeding your body to the maximum = to max output.
We shouldn’t be dieting just for show days or holidays etc people need to stop following these crazy diets and maybe look more to us and see that we can not only control what we eat skillfully enough to lose weight and still kill it everyday in the gym but also gain muscle and live a healthier life when it comes to not having a show and just being normal people, husbands wife’s parents etc

So first progress pictures. Post pull session. Went well although didn’t start as planned due to busy gym ( hate when this happens) but eventually managed to get a bar (although wasn’t the best. Been through it and no longer straight). So after warm up of chin variations and rear delts was onto snatch rdl t bar row single low row singles high row and wide pull downs and wide shrugs for muscle round. Hamstring and biceps to finish over productive workout. Total 12 working sets Really focusing at the moment on technique and contractions, try to master the trade I guess still after 14 odd years of training always learning new ways to train. So dropped weights slightly to really focus on these factors. On the Eccentric kind of bulding up the torque then powering through concentric and contract hard!
Post workout 68g whey 150g white choc coco pops and small banana

So I’m 6ft and currently 205lb. I finished my cut 3 weeks ago and am no jumping in steadily into a bulk. Current macros pro 300g
    Fats 75g
    Carbs 430g
    Current split
    Push pull off legs repeat
Health at the moment is good. Wanting to push to 233 lb and reassess from there. Although my love is for open bodybuilding I’m under no illusion that classic is we’re I am at.
Let’s see where these upcoming months take me
    Cheers guys
