Good leg session, only 3 sessions this week , just to manage fatigue but they were all tremendous
I’m going to run eod training now for a bit , which knocks my frequency down from 5 to 6 sleeps , but needs must as I’m at all time strength as getting to 290 + now is about fatigue management and staying in the fight , as trust me, this part is so damn hard
Will wait for Stefan to give the nod on food adjustments
The only thing that will cut this phase short is sleep apnea , as then no matter what you do, recovery is not there and doesn’t get there until lighter and can breath again

I really enjoy Dan McNab, Johnnie Reid and Dean Lesiak’s podcast as well, but that one is definitely in the entertaining category and not the informative category

The meal plan is in! I’ll write it up tomorrow and post it here for you guys to see. We’ve gone for 4 Main meals per day – I prefer this myself as it fits better into my working day etc
Then Additional shakes throughout the day and I’ll also include the GH and slin timing/protocols as well

Recovery day today.
Morning walk followed by massage mainly around my trap and shoulder freeing up some tight muscles then a sauna session in the afternoon.
I’ve got my WSM medical tomorrow with blood tests and ECG so decided not to do the intervals on the wattbike until later in the week.
I’ve also got a new spin bike arriving tomorrow which is mainly for the Mrs but it has a weight capacity that can take me so I’ll move my bike sessions from the wattbike to this new Technogym bike.
Hi Adam! Just a quick one, are the blood tests and ECG just to ensure that you are fit to compete for WSM? Or are they looking for something specific?

Weight today – 231 – quite a big jump since home but expected given the drastic changes from what I was doing.
High day today which is the same as the last one – 6k cals and carbs at 1000g or there abouts – I am behind with meals again due to falling asleep post legs so trying to catch up.
Legs was the same as last week and just as brutal. -I made some slight changes to help my lower back.
I was totally ruined post session.
Extensions – 5 sets of 20 reps
pendulum – 4 sets of 20 reps
Leg press – done with a 4 second negative and 3 second positive – 20/15/12/10/8
lunges – 3 sets to failureSeated ham curls – done with a 2 second pause in contraction and 4 second negative – x 12, x 12, x 8f with a drop set
Lay leg curls – 3 x 15 reps with a 2 second pause in contraction.
Adductor – 3 x 20 repsTotally dead
How do you feel with that rate of gain Hilly, being +/- 10lbs up in roughly 2 weeks? Also with all the new training, how are you enjoying AJ’s plan so far?

Today was a medium day meal plan – 5750kcal, 503p, 646c, 127f
1 – beef/eggs/COR/nut butter/omega pro
2 – chicken/rice/coconut oil/banana – pre gym
Intra -Trainedbyjp EAA 25g and 30g performance fuel with creatine and taurine – inject L car pre gym
PWO – 25g EAA, 1 scoop Vegan, HMB, 100g carbs from COR
4 – lamb/cooked jasmine rice – this was in a restaurant for my birthday with charl and Arilena
5 – chicken/rice/Mac oil/saurkraut
6 – beef/eggs/jasmine rice
7 – shake during the night – Trainedbyjp vegan whey and free from oats – not sure if these are going to sit right but he wants me to try so try I will.
More beef than I would usually eat again due to digestion but he has recommend some digestion things that he feels may help and if not we shall change things
thats a tonne of food! what were you eating roughly right before you pulled the plug on the diet and began working with AJ? flicked through ur log and saw you were on 4k td and 3000-3300 rd on 8th feb, what did diet end at?

Hey Jordan, I had it after being double vaxxed, didn’t even know I had it, only took a test as my mates went down with it. Developed a slight sore throat and that was it.
Hope you recover quick mate, from those I have talked to who’ve suffered with it, rest was key to pulling away from persistent symptoms.

Rest day today, so this is the first day of reduced calories for non training day since my calories were pulled down on Monday slightly. Macro split for rest days are now:
350P 700C 100F / 5100 Kcals (previous 350P 700C 125F / 5325 Kcals)
Food has flew down today, although the only change was 25g pulled from fats food has been easy to get in. I’m still macro tracking for now,

We took covid tests just because we have some in the house as had to have negative tests before going to the rugby …. We are both positive , however today is the day you don’t have to self isolate lol, we will still stay in the house though as again don’t want to give this to anyone
Corinne I think is actually a little worse than me bless her , so now I’m not sure if we smashed ourselves last week with double days or just got unlucky and got covid hahah
Sorry to hear this, hope you both recover quickly. COVID for me was a slight sore throat for 1.5-2 days, fingers crossed you both have similar experiences 🙂
