No, as you said it’s tight, it needs to be looser so massage work and stretching! Also, if shoulder rolls forward, you need to strengthen the lower trap muscles that will keep shoulders back.

I recommend you bake your meats so you don’t need cooking oil. I bake my chicken breast, put my beef burgers in the grill. Alternatively if a meal is say 40P 50C 10F, you can always use olive oil as your fat source and cook in the olive oil.

I also do as Hilly does with rice. For chicken breast cooked 100gr is about 31 protein.

That seems very high to me for daily expenditure! Is this a manual physical job?
I don’t think basing your calories off your activity, which means having different calorie intake each day is the way to go for a gaining phase. I think this is overthinking things and making them harder than they need to be. Pick a macro breakdown, eat the same everyday and weigh yourself everyday. At the end of the week, calculate your weight average. if you’re seeing a 0,5% increase in BW per week, your diet is good. If not, slightly adjust and add in maybe an extra 50 grams of carbs. I hope this helps.To adjust calories everyday, I think you have to be very in tune with your body and this is maybe good when it comes to maintenance.

Hey James, do you ever take progress pictures in more “modest lighting”? As opposed to gym lighting, even if fasted this can maybe give an impression of being leaner than you actually are. Just interested because some gym lighting seems to be far better than stage lighting. Looking awesome and love the training videos, and your kindness. Cheers

I notice lots of machine work. Do you favour these over free weights? What’s the reasoning for the machines? I’m from the opinion that all sessions should have a bit of both (machines and free weights), what’s your view?
