Adam, I will add, I can’t do 4 on 1 off , some can, I have never been able to . For me, I could do stints of 2 on 1 off at moderate volume and then drop to one day on one off until I feel good again. Volume/frequency is a very personal thing , some have crazy capacity to do work. Others less so

Would you attribute that more to you’re genetics, or your intensity. Some have crazy capacity. Most just lack intensity ???? not many can go to that dark place with high volume.

Will you be jumping in on any sessions with James and Luke? I know they’re due to train together frequently leading into next year.

WOW! You looked absolutely amazing. I can already see from the few pics so far, the improvements you’ve made from last showing. And still brought insane condition. Your physique screams hard work.

Hi bud. I’ll ask you this now, as your calories are still quite high, so less chance of a sarcastic answer ???? regarding digestion, have you ever considered a fast? As in a couple days? I know athletes with gut issues that swear by doing a 3 day fast when digestion gets bad, and their digestion capabilities massively improve.

Obviously the fast sounds genuinely terrifying to someone with a lot of muscle that expends a lot of cals in the gym, but in the right environment with drugs and rest days, it may not be massively detrimental and could facilitate a more beneficial push up in calories.

Has the bike arrived yet bud?
How do you plan to use it?
    Will cals change to accommodate?
Cardio when not in comp prep. James will be so proud ????

Hi Jamie. Great to see you here on this site. Fantastic addition to the team.

Quick one about blood glucose. I know you have a similar stance on it as James. I’m guessing both inspired by Phil. After a while of checking BG, have you found there’s indications that your BG is back in range other than actually checking it? E.g. hunger, energy, mood etc?

Sorry I know you asked Jordan, but he’ll be bodypowering and thought it might be helpful until he can answer ????

I’d imagine it’s going to massively depend on the individual. Beginner, amateur or pro. How well they are able to take fat off. Feedback of performance in the gym, insulin sensitivity, lethargy and appetite. Guides of percentage over stage weight can normally be pretty accurate but so many other factors too.

So fucking happy for you buddy. You live this and love this. Great to see it getting rewarded. Soak it all in. Top 3 at a PRO show.

James when you say the goal is fat loss…..from where?! ???? how much more do you think needs to come off?

I know you said one of the main concerns this time is to keep muscle mass and not run too low for too long. Sounds like Phil’s doing a good job of feeding you when needed. Do you feel you’ve held on to muscle a lot better this time?

Think of other things you’ve took on that felt overwhelming and ask yourself how did they turn out? I’m sure with your work ethic the answer is always “absolutely fine” ???? You might not remember, but I’ve said it a few times to you on here and insta. With your drive and ability to work harder than most, any goal you set is just a matter of time ????????

Well I’m sure people closer to you have noticed too, but I hope me mentioning it reinforces what you’re doing is helping in a positive and noticeable way. Ye would have never described you as unhappy, I guess I’d more say you seem more ‘content’. So hopefully won’t need as much sedatives close to the show, but still have a smile on your face when you’re up there. Ha.

Agree 100% with Clare. A meal straight before training probably wouldn’t sit great. Clare’s approach should give you all the energy and nutrition you need as a meal before training, without having the meal before training ????

Fats should be fine. Cardio is it’s own separate tool. No real need to adjust diet around it. Different story for training ????
