MemberSeptember 17, 2018 at 9:30 pm in reply to: James Hollingshead 2018 transition into off seasonLooking forward to seeing you at the guest spot Sunday buddy. I’ll be there making some noise ???? going down with a mate who’s prepped a lad and girl for it.
When you sat down with Phil to talk through a plan, what was the overall goal? It must be weird dieting for a show that’s relatively far away considering your body comp of already being lean? Slow steady fat loss? Or get down what was needed and then hold it? It’s been interesting seeing you changing frequently from very low carb to refeeds. Would be good to hear the thought process of it.

Heavy has to be relative. You wouldn’t prescribe everyone the same weight on a heavy loading set. So heavy is relative to the person 🙂 Mine and Eddie halls heavy loading would differ slightly by a kg or 2 ????

After this push before your mini cut, where are you expecting to be at strength wise on main loading lifts? Do you. Think you’ll struggle not pushing 300lb or do you think mechanically you’ll be able to move better being so much leaner? You can see in your face you’re still pretty lean and your food isn’t sky high, so can imagine this doesn’t facilitate strength as much. -

Can get deeper than normal press and it keeps it on the quads as it swings away from you. Would you ever plan a session with you, luke, sas and James? Would easily get the most views of any vid! Plus I always love seeing any of you meet up and talk. Always a good watch.

Ye I’ve seen loads of his vids. But surely that’s not the era he was talking about for building mass? Heavy is relative. And if he can do 8-12 without going to failure, that isn’t heavy. Love hearing how big guys got big. Nearly every time, it’s how the USED to train (heavy) rather than how they train now (more pump stuff to prevent injury having already built the mass)

What kind of rep range was he doing these sets? I’m guessing quite low if not going to failure and classing weight as heavy?

Haven’t you seen it’s been classed as POISON in the papers this week? That tiny bit you have is full of sat fats and will make you obese! ????

MemberAugust 6, 2018 at 9:02 am in reply to: James Hollingshead 2018 transition into off seasonYes!!! Just seen Prague show is now confirmed. New question instead. Ha. With it being just under 8 weeks away. Will you look to maybe push up for a couple weeks? You have nowhere near 8 weeks of dieting to get peeled. Will be interesting to see the plan with food and drugs.
