Sometimes adding in some extra food during a dieting phase can offset some stress, which in turn can reduce some inflammation, drop water and improve sleep, which will result in a drop in scale weight. Also, when you increase the energy availability you have through food, you tend to subconsciously move more, which in turn will burn more calories. It also gives you some extra energy during training, helping you to push harder.. again, burning more calories.
It’s a tool that works when you’ve been dieting for a while and are lean enough, but it’s not something that you can do too often as eventually those additional calories will start being stored as bodyfat and throw you off your goal.
Now that you say that I’ve noticed I’ve slept in on the mornings that I’ve weighed less.
And I relax a lot more on weekends as work is active and has been stressfull the past 2-3 weeks. -
I can say with quite some certainty that this is an area that I’m very well accustomed to. Just so we are clear are adverse to using any specific fat loss agents? Are you after the most efficient rapid fat loss approach?
The most efficient, get in get out ideally, pretty much used everything over the last number of years other than DNP which I’d rather not use. How would you approach ?
I would and have had success with the following.
t3 – 50mcg and t4 – 100mcg.
clen 40-120mcg increased every 10 days over 30 days.
Gh 1.5IU pre morning cardio and pre training.
Testosterone 150mg and masteron 150mg split MWF
Steps at 20k Daily
Carbs just PWO
Protein higher around 300g
Only added fats was with a salmon meal pre bed.
Just curious as to how you gauge muscle loss when you ran this.
Did you just go on strength? I think I may need to add some t3 t4 in eventually but I still have a few calories to play with.
Would you wait until calories were very low before added t3t4 and every other Avenue had been used. Or just go for it.
I’m at 2300 td and 2000 ntd.
IMO you cant loose muscle on these drugs in reality unless you are some one like Jordan/Kuba etc and holding substantial amounts of muscle mass well above what your body should be and even then I think it would be hard in reality.
I would have the thyroid meds in play from the start as you want thinks maximised from the start as this is a rapid fat loss approach
Thanks for responding to me. Hopefully I’ve not missed the boat with the t3t4.
I’ve got 6 more weeks until photo shoot il add them in now as my next adjustment. -

Il give it a go. And see what happens. Thank you.
-
So still take it on wake.
Even if il be taking in carbs 60 mins later?
I suppose I’m not exactly drinking my intra in one go it’s 35g carbs spread throughout the workout. -
How are you finding trainjng legs with higher volume and the slower tempos. Would you say your progressing just as well as if you were training 1 heavy 1 back off. Same as advocated by most on this site.
I’ve currently got a niggle in my groin and I was going to try similar leg training style to you so the load doesn’t need to be as high.
Also. Looking great in the pics you’ve just uploaded. 👍🏻

What’s the idea behind adding clean in straight away with the calorie drop. ?
Would it of been healthier to not add the clen straight away until needed.
Or is it worth running for it’s affects on bodyfat loss
Will you run it straight for this tidy up phase?
Potential for anti catabolic properties, I don’t think it would be healthier no I prefer to use tools at hand to prevent any catabolism
If I add clen now or in 2 weeks neither is a healthy option what would be healthier is doing natural bodybuilding but I am now ?
It’s worth it for affects on fat loss / muscle retention and performance so I use it when going into a deficit as another tool there which inevitably leads into a better outcome every single time rather than waiting and dropping calories lower and lower.
Healthier option is also to
Diet on more cals so I would argue adding clen in is a better option when you start.
Just some of my observations
Thanks for your reply.
I’m dieting atm and keep dropping calories. But I want to add clen.
Was seeing your reasoning behind adding it so early so I can do it myself. ? -

Thankyou for your advice hilly I have ordered a thyroid test and added clen :).

Yes and she is looking better. But she doesn’t like taking pictures. I have explained to her that it’s a slow process especially when cals are already this low.
She does 20 mins cardio post workout.
I will increase this to 10 min interval then 20 mins steadyAlso we train after protein shake and coconut oil in morning. Then have intra with eaa and cyclic dextrin.
If I wanted to add yohimbine how would I alter this?
Is it carbs that blunt it’s effects?
So would I just remove intra carbs ?
Or would I need to drop the morning shake and mct’s?Would it be better to just take clen so I do not need to alter her diet yet. And then add in yohimbine when I need to do a diet adjustment ?
Just to clarify. On t3 and t4.
Why would you use t4 first and not t3 and what would be a good starting dose ?We built her calories up quite high before Xmas but also had couple cheat means a week. So they weren’t clean.
Then got covid and had time off training because of work and family stuff also. So had a shitty 6 weeks.
That didn’t help the starting point. -
You would need to run a Thyroid check if she keeps dropping cals and weight doesn’t change. You could use t3 is production is low. Women require less calories than men so its normal to need to go fairly low.
Yes I’ve spoken to her about this but she has a needle phobia.
She hired a coach last year and was doing cardio twice a day plus training and doing something like 18k plus steps per day and still wasn’t lean. Also on less food than I have her on.That’s the reason I said about a thyroid check.
Also she has ALOT more muscle since she’s been training with me. For example her hack squat has gone from 30kg for 10 to 120x 8 and incline benching 17.5 a side. When she could only do 5 kg at first. -
My phone may be playing up. This message is blank

MemberMarch 8, 2022 at 6:29 pm in reply to: Fast acting insulin on a recomp and cut phasecan it be done. – yes and it would not effect fat loss and enhance recovery etc.
However the issue can be as we diet we tend to burn through CHO quicker than we realise and we also become more insulin sensitive so to speak and thus the chances of having a Hypo increase quite a bit which means having to over eat and go backwards.
Its running a fine line and there are obviously dangers to this if your not sure what your doing or can’t get your nutrition on point.
Then comes the debate of is it really bringing that much extra if it is going to cause slip ups on the meal plan and put you back.
Personally unless your advanced and really in tune with things I dont think its worth it – potentially use on a higher day when training a weak body part or more demanding session were you have a higher day.
Just my opinion
Thankyou. I was hoping I would get an in-depth reply like this.
I could go down to 3iu pre and post and hopefully wouldn’t run into hypo problems for a while. Or
I’d use it on my push days as that’s my weaker bodypart. But it’s not as taxing as push or pull.
Il just pull it as it will be an extra variable to manage that’s not needed.
:).
