I may have been mislead by my prior coaches as they have advised I use it to shuttle glycogen and water into the muscle to aid in peak fullness and dryness. I am prepping myself this time.

    Yeh I would.

If I’m being honest I personally would double that the initial 6-8 weeks

Then drop down for another 6-8

    Asses from there

Cheers Hilly – much appreciated ?

Hgh would potentially be beneficial yes. Dose – I would suggest 2-3iu daily however that’s just my own opinion on it.

    Not medically based

I would do some reading on tb500 for this buddy.

    They are animal

Studies but it’s shown to be beneficial in this area ?

    Much appreciated Hilly!

I’ll look into running tb500 alongside HGH- I suspect effective tb500 dosage at my weight (145kg) would need to be at least 4mg per week if you agree?

    Cheers!

For those using the SST method, generally how many exercises per body part in one session would you use this method e.g. Every exercise or only a certain few exercises per session? I suspect CNS overload may be heightened if performing this across many exercises in one session but with sufficient recovery possibly it could be done.

@drdeanstmart appreciate your opinion if given the above, you believe morning cortisol in the low end of the normal parameter would still negatively affect hypertrophy and recovery. Many thanks!

Thanks Dean- this was a morning fasted sample so Im leaning towards adrenal insufficiency. 225 nmol/L falls within the normal range but its definitely on the low end of the scale. I had been taking cortisol replacement for a suspected adrenal insufficiency in the past but stopped for this test to recheck levels. Cortisol appears to have improved to the low end of the normal range. Doctors dont like to medicate cortisol unless it falls out of the range but would you expect this Cortisol level to still be detrimental?

@drdeanstmart I was hoping I may be able to get your expertise on testosterone to cortisol ratios. I have just had the following blood test results come through:
    Testosterone: 15nmol/L
    Cortisol: 225nmol/L
    Test:Cortisol Ratio: 0.07
My interpretation is that this is likely sub-optimal. Are you able to advise what an optimal range of test:cortisol ratio would be for optimal recovery and performance?
