True indeed. Lack of patience seems to be my Achilles heel, but I will. I am due a bit of a tidy up for a couple of weeks, then on I will push.

I wasted my rebound from my show, so I am thinking tidying back up, coming back on cycle in the new year and starting my next push from a leaner (and more efficient) state should be productive.

    Thanks.

I have been since renewing my membership. Tried the approach this morning, definitely gives me more strength to lift the big basics more, which when it’s 12/13 sets it’s crucial. I ditched zig zagging along the same lines.

Interesting. For a year I have done compound/isolation as per one of your programmes, but definitely going to try this as I just want to lift as much weight as possible in the offseason.

Would you recommend this for legs and/or pull? I suppose I kind of do this anyway – so I do ham curl, squat variation, leg press, SLDL first.

I think I have got the medal with doing bloody cardio (I had to do it through off season last time to keep my weight down). In fact ‘carb cycling’ is such a wide ranging term it’s almost meaningless – I eat less carbs on the days I don’t train, I eat less carbs in the meals away from training – that is carb cycling. My goal is to push my size up (which includes strength and bodyweight), I will give HIIT in the off season a miss thanks!

I certainly think you are right on that, my general view was to keep the protein/fats consistent and up the carbs…..

I generally go with a combo – two of the variety packs boxes! Which ever two come of the pack I have…ha.
