Just watched Jordans Video on progressing from FBW to U/L – he said that on U/L a Deadlift / Rack Deadlift etc. would be a bad idea because of the split.
So I guess I should maybe really go for a PPL split..
Just thought I could / would Progress faster w more workouts per year..
This is so hard to choose ????

That all depends on your recovery capabilities!

Never really felt a Problem there.

Only working 5 days per week – 4 hours each day – but manual labor nightshift.
    Does not feel that taxing.
    I’m still young.

So 2 x U/L would be superior IF my recovery can manage that?

Just read this Post by Jordan on another thread :

I think it’s person dependent , I have managed to grow ok arms on PPL , but I also do acknowledge at some point if I want gd arms I will need an arm day. But I say this a lot, an arm day for most people I feel is a wasted day, and they should be focusing on upper / lower , and pushing up bodyweight . And then once that’s maxed out , maybe an arm day

So I guess PPL or U/L would be both gd for me.
What would you say would be better at my point / stage?
I mean U/L would be 2 times each per week – PPL just 1 1/4 times per week ;o

Thank you my man – but that is currently my shape because of I’m already cutting.

I started from here :D.. Too fat of an off season – I just went all out dirty.

    By the way – I’m 100% w you mate!

I got lagging arms and lat width!

So what would fix this best, PPL? U/L?

Does anyone have tips how to focus my weak points w one of that splits? ;o

    ♛ Мишка ♛

Edit: I would just guess that U/L would be “superior” to PPL because I would train every muscle 104 instead of like 78 times per year.

But maybe PPL would be better for me / my go als / my weak points. Pretty unsure.

Any help is more than welcome! 🙂

I think with your experience of training and the muscle you have built so far you could really look at progressing to an upper/lower split which you could hit upper Monday, lower Wednesday, upper Friday, lower Sunday and repeat. Or even push, pull, legs rotation. What you’ve built already looks like a great base and just needs enhancing.

Thank you for your kind words – and for your opinions 🙂

What would you say would be better at my point? U/L 2 times per week or PPL? ;o

May I ask, what would you call the weak points on my physique?

    Thanks for your answers! ????
I will just copy this from my other (now deleted thread)
    “Hey guys,
I’m 27 years old and I’ve been Training for about 6 years now.
I really like Jordans approach and think it would have helped me to know this years before.
I’m currently on a cut and I’m on a bro split – I really would like to change to Jordans approach – but I don’t know “where” (or which what split) to start it.
Maybe this pcitures could help a bit with choosing an appropiate split – or to judge my physique and / or find weak points (except being v small overall).

    To answer your questions:

My overall goal is to be huge, thick and dense – like Jordan.

Currently I’m cutting – guess about 6 more weeks to go – after that I want to build a hell lot of muscle – while staying lean (first time I will not “dirty bulk” / take the “see food” diet approach)

I would not start with a bicep isolation ex, really not necessary, maybe at the end of your workout!

But isn’t that, what Jordan suggested in his IG Post (Day 1) about the Full Body Split?
On Day 2 the biceps isolation ex is at the end.

    Wednesday:

    incline DB curl: 14-17, 20

    Toe Press: 15-20, 20-25
BB Squat: (not sure about the reps for these)
    Ham Curls: 8-12, 12-15

    Machine Chest Press: 14-17, 20
    Bent Over Row: 14-17, 20

    Narrow Grip Bench: 14-17, 20

    Friday:

    EZ curls: 8-12, 12-15

    Flat bench press: 8-12, 12-15

    Flat DB Press: 8-12, 12-15

    T Bar Row: 8-12, 12-15

    Smith Squat: 12-15, 15-20

    DB RDL: 12-15, 15-20

    Seated calf raise: 8-12, 12-15

Im just gonna copy and paste my reply to you below:

    my

response below is just straight copied and pasted because I have been answering a lot of FBW questions as I do have 6 years solid experience with them!

    “Hi mate,

I’ve done FBW’s since 15 years old and will never change my views on them. They are the GOAT!

I still to this day follow a ‘zero fluff routine’. Despite not training arms directly consistently over the past 6 years, my arms are still over 20 inches cold which I know arms lagging is a big concern to people considering FBW’s. But how are they that big if I don’t do curls or pushdowns? I got strong at the basics and mastered recovery!

My typical sessions look something like this, performed 2/3/4 times a week, depending on how I am feeling and my current goals.

    Chest Compound 1×5-9 1×10-15
    Back Compound 1×5-9 1×10-15

Second Press Compound (dip, OHP, machine etc) 1×5-9

    2nd Back Compound 1×15 drop set 1×10+

Lower Compound (leg press, squat, hack, lunges, RDL’s etc) 1×5-9 2×10-15

    Calves 3×15

With the above template it should be easy to customise your own routine. Make sure you have a few rotations to get through to avoid stalling and I would advise having sessions you come in and start on lower body, but whatever is preference. I will always hammer home the simplicity and beauty of FBW’s, 4 days out of the gym every week to recover and 3 opportunities to grow.

    Training a muscle 1xp/w = 52 sessions a year
    Training a muscle 2xp/w = 104 sessions a year
    Training FBW 3xp/w = 156 sessions a year with 209 days recovery!”

FYI aged 15 I weighed 160lbs and by the time I was 17 I was over 240lbs completely unassisted and I got very very strong very quick!

I think it is plenty. Know lots of people that do this and see fantastic progress. Recovery would be amazing. And it is this that truly facilitates growth

    @MattTofton
I see most people do ppl twice per week is that better or is once a week enough?

Once a week would be enough.

Doing PPL (4 training days per week).

Better do PPL once HARDCORE than two times half ass workouts – two times HARDCORE wouldn’t be possible IMHO (not enough rest to grow etc.)

The second one – orals added is always “more effective” than stacking another injectable compound.
Think I even heard it on here, by Jordan himself.

10iu pre training! Ffs bro that’s a big dose

    Good luck with maintaining that

I read something like “Mutants PreWO Slin Protocol” – there he states that this worked best for him and some advanced athletes – so I wanted to try it – but I asked Jordan, he said 4 iu per day would be superior to 3 x 10 iu per week (just pre workout).
    So I’ll change to that.

Now, like 4-5 hours later, I feel what Hilly said earlier, I’m “half sitting, half laying” in my bed – Holding my mobile phone and fight to stay awake HAHA – work will be fun tonight ????..

It comes down to what day it is, but mostly I’m out w my family, shopping w the wifey, going to see animals w the kids.
    Something like that.
If nothing goes, I often just lay around in bed, watch youtube Videos about Bodybuilding, read about Bodybuilding, play some games on my mobile phone (mostly Arena of Valor and Clash Royale).
