Hi Adam,
Really enjoying following this thread.
Would you be able to outline your current diet? Does it ramp up as you get closer to competition or does it stay fairly consistent throughout?
Would also appreciate your views on training squats & deadlifts the same day x 2 a week? On one day one movement would be heavy and one would be dynamic and then alternate for the 2nd session.
All the best.

Hi Jordan,
Not sure you will remember me, I’m pretty sure I was one of your first clients circa 2009/10.
I have continued to follow your journey over the years and it is incredible what Cor and yourself have achieved. The drive, resilience and discipline that you both demonstrate in your studies, BB and business is remarkable.
I understand your reasons for not sharing this news on SM, its a toxic place and something I personally stick clear of. Unfortunately, when you have a brand, SM has a role to play – just choose your moment wisely and prepare yourself for the response.
Aside the above, all I wanted to say was ‘run your own race’ don’t concern yourself with the opinions of sheep and follow your heart.
Wishing you both all the best for 2023.
Regards
Matt

Thanks for taking the time to reply Bish, that meal actually sounds really easy to get down so I might have to give it a go at some point.
Thanks for sharing the inside info on what happens at an elite level, I have competed in a number of local strongman comps and have always found them atmosphere amongst the competitors to be really positive and encouraging.
Having competed as a BB I found that the subjectivity of judging an cause friction between people, where as with strength sports you can’t really argue about the results… It is what it is.
Are you missing the S&C role at Quind at all? I imagine that you built some strong relationships with players and staff over there so it must have been a difficult decision to make, although balanced against winning WSM you will probably say it was a no brainer actually….

Hey Champ,
Really enjoying following this log and the videos that are accompanying it too.
Quick Q, your egg white, oats, milk and whey meals, are they in the form of a shake or do you ‘eat’ them e.g. Scramble the eggs up, cook oats etc.?
I would also be interested to know what the atmosphere is like between the athletes at a Giants comp or WSM, with long waits between events do people tend to laugh and joke with one another or are people very much in their own bubbles, headphones on, trying to stay focused. I appreciate everybody is different and there is not a one size fits all approach….so I am just curious as to which athletes to what?

Hi Rich, I really enjoyed your latest training video.
Are you able to outline what a typical day’s nutrition, hydration, supplementation looks like for you?
Keep up the good work.

I’m a big believer in visualisation and mental preparation when working towards goals.
Can you explain your methodology when leading up to a workout, does it start the night before, the day of? Is there any specific ques for you?
I remember reading how Dorian always wore the same hat on chest day etc. Do you use music as an influence or anything you picked up from you pro sport days?
Thanks

Kind Regards Matt.

Slightly off topic but who are/have been the most influential people in your journey so far and why?
Also
If you could coach any bodybuilder who has now retired who would that be and why?
Enjoying your journal, all the best

I echo what Jordan said, a natural in front of the camera…..a future career as a weatherman perhaps lol
I would be interested to hear more a about your visualization techniques before a lift. I have failed countless times on lifts due to ‘believing’ the weight was going to be too heavy when the previous set (maybe 10kg) difference flew up.

Amazing words Jordan.
Mindset is crucial in personal development.
Every successful person has that ‘edge’ its that difference between being one of the million and one in a million.
I have followed your journey for some years now and was probably one of your first clients. The dedication, discipline and devotion you display in your craft is second to none.
It motivates me like hell.
You will get yours…..I have no doubts about this.

Thanks for taking the time to reply mate.
A very honest answer mate, completely understand that single minded, focused approach. When I was preparing for my promotion board at work I applied a similar methodology.
Once again I am remarkably impressed by your calculated, thorough application to become the best bodybuilder that you can be.
One day, one meal, one repetition at a time you are getting closer to your goal.

Hi Jord, really enjoying the thread, very informative and as per you are just a machine ploughing on through prep.
Out of interest what is your choice of fish at present?
I really enjoy fish, more so than chicken really but were I have to prep my meals the day before I choose not to eat it at work as I am unsure about reheating in a microwave? Has this ever caused you any issues or do you prep as you go? I know I could eat it cold but I prefer my meals hot.
Also at this stage of prep are you social? What I mean by this is do you still see friends etc or do you find you retreat in to yourself as you don’t want any distractions?

cheers for that robbie, although I am one of the few gym enthusiasts who are not on IG.
I will check his youtube channel for updates.
