Replenishing glycogen stores for recovery, if you want to hold some muscle imo it’s very important

In a deficit I would always prioritise keeping some carbs around training for that reason alone.

    Got it, thanks!

Yes an initial, bigger drop is normal. Just monitor scale weight from now on and if this rate of loss continues, then adjust your diet/output accordingly to slow things down.

    Spot on, cheers!

Having just one rotation will see you stall pretty quickly on movements, so I agree with Jordan. Have an Upper 1, then have a different Upper 2, with similar movements, but different exercises (As per example). You could also switch up your rep ranges on that Chest press and have a period progressing with that.

Yeah I’m going to implement the rotation Jordan talked about and get strong across them. I do work across different rep ranges some more than others, thank you both!

Exercise rotation will help A LOT , but also yes your going to run into that wall for sure

I would drop the nautilus , pick 2 movements , alternate them

Hi Jordan, thank you. So would that rotation just mean after i pick 2 movements to get strong on, that i would only do 1 of them each session? Or do both each session but start with a different one each time?

It will happen, don’t worry about it at all , understand that you simply need to get lean , and then once your a couple months back into a surplus you will be at all time strength again. Don’t fuck up your actual goal of achieving a serious physique , because you feel a bit bad because you have dropped strength , which is A complete must when actually getting lean

    Okay perfect, thank you!
