Hiya Jack, if you can please outline your diet including any sauces or vegetables you eat. Outline your activity like steps and training and how much you drink in a day. How long has this been going on for? How has recovery been? Are you juggling a lot in life/work right now? A lot of the time when it comes to digestion a lot of surrounding questions need to be asked to help give helpful advice!

The only thing is I can think of would be my sleep
I only manage to get about 4-5 hours due to young kids

    Hi mate

Do be conscious of movements that are causing discomfort, and see if you have sensible substitutes that can be made.

If budget allows, I would consider adding JoinIn to your supplement list. Genuinely it’s been massive for my knees!

Will definitely add this in 100%
Maybe I should switch up rep ranges too
I usually work in the 6-8 reps in squats

When was the last time you took a de-load?

Yeah maybe it’s time for one

What’s the way you do a deload ? Leave RIR or reduce volume ??

Would also look to add some peptides for recovery and good quality sleep if not already getting that

    Bp500 ??

If you’ve taken the reigns yourself, and you’re able to scale things back and not have it spur on binging or overeating then that amount of pull back is fine. Allow the weight to drop back down to baseline, but you’re not going to get it back to pre-show/show weight if this is a tidy up prior to a 2nd take at a rebound. Like Clare said, it’s colder outside, it could be that. It’s not a huge deal though.

Would dropping back down to baseline and holding for a week see an improvement in body comp you think ? As I still feel a little bloated

Yes, I always go into speaking to your coach first if you’re still getting coached by them

If you’re in a good mindset to be able to pull back, then obviously you can to then push up again

Obviously, given of health markers are all okay as well

But if you can reset and go again, then do it and then lessons to learn for next time

Cardio wise look at getting your heart rate up bothering getting based on sweating, et cetera

What health markers should I look for post show ? Being natural

Agree with the others above here! If you are in a good mindset to, then pull back – we’ve all made this mistake post show it helps you to learn how not to do it – it’s a shame things diddnt work out with your coach & they diddnt help you come back down again.. but what’s done is done & I’m sure you have learned a lot in this time!

    100% . Its just a few weeks of a set back that’s all .

Have you communicated the change to your coach? And Are sups any different?

I left my coach because of the lack of structure post show . I just ballooned up . 7kg in a week is not right

Firstly, communicate with your coach. Make sure they know what you’ve been doing, how you’re looking and what you intend to do. You need to be honest with them and tell them everything, otherwise what’s the point in having a coach!

As for not sweating during your cardio.. I wouldn’t overthink it. The weather outside is cooler now, so maybe that’s had an effect.

I left my coach because of what the protocol was . I just gained 7kg in a week post show . And got fat and bloated and digestion was awful

10 days ago you wrote this :

    “2 weeks post show
The night of show I did eat what I wanted and bloated out
    In 1 week I gained 7kg”

Just as a context; your body ofc is inflammed and it gonna take few days/weeks until it’s regulate.

I advise you to control your diet, stay on lean food avoid free meals for now, hydrate yourself good and be patient

Thank you . Just trying to put things right

Definitely not something that’s unheard of. Did you not take any rest post show ? The body goes through a hell of alot during a prep and a peak

Nah man . Went straight to work if u get me
