Being flat is pretty normal during the last week. Also when you go higher in carbs. Depends on how big you are and how much muscle you carry! I need about a 1.000g of carbs for 3 days to really fill out!

Rest day for me today! Getting mentally ready for the last heavy leg session tomorrow! 6 days to go! I’m so amazed by Lara’s performance yesterday! I hope I can also perform on such a high level next week! I also have my fingers crossed for Mark today!

MemberOctober 5, 2019 at 8:29 am in reply to: Peak week training methods/need advice pleaseI would just stick to my normal workouts. Just maybe reduce rest periods a little and leave 2 reps in the tank not to cause any muscle damage or soreness!

I think on muscle rounds progression is not that much imporatant than the rest of the workout! The goal with muscle rounds is putting a lot of metabolic stress on the muscle and create blood flow! Just focus on great mind muscle connection and the pump!

Turn down the volume mate and swicht to ppl! Train about 4 days a week with about 12 – 14 sets per workout focussing on maintining strength or better – getting stronger! But most imprtant, pay attention to your recovery! Maybe do 5-7 days of a deload before switching to ppl!

Really killed my pull session today. I gave everything I had and left not one single rep in the tank! Did I few adjustments in some exercises which felt very good! Very high volume today to pump all the carbs into the muscle cells from yesterdays carb up.

My coach gave me one last carb up day yesterday so we don’t loose to much the final days!

I would start slightly lighter and with perfect form for the first cycle until you are back in the groof. It sometimes takes a few sessions for you body to get back to the groove. But afterwards it should respond much better. So don’t overdo it in the first 3-4 training sessions!

10 days out! Rest day for me today! Felt like shit after this crazy session yesterday! Weight was down to 70,9kg this morning. But my conditioning is getting really insane now!
