Weight was down to 73,4kg this morning and I can say this is the best condition I’ve ever been in so far! 3 more weeks to go till my first IFBB pro qualifier in Budapest!
Training is still amazing! Hit a new prep pb on the barbell military press today with 110kg x 5 reps!

Absolutely crushed legs today. Was not very strong but pushed volume and intensity.

The golden rule is: If you look great one week out – don’t mix things up to much because there can be many variables. My sodium intake is always high. Just when I start carbing up, i reduce the sodium!

Feeling much better today after yesterdays rest day! Weight is down to 74,5kg again! Going to hit legs later today. Maybe I’m driving to another gym just to mix things up a little!

Of course it’s possible. It depends on my factors but i’ve seen lots of people putting on lean tissue and get better in their 40s. John meadows, shawn rhoden, dexter jackson just to name a few.
Albert beckles competed in the mr. Olympia at 61 years and looked amazing.

Rest day from the gym today. But lot of work and physical activity for me on the menu today. 25 days to go. Can’t wait to hit the stage again after 2 1/2 years.

Had an amazing pull session today for being 3 1/2 weeks out from my first show. Did 140×6 underhand grip barbell rows which felt amazing. Strongest i’ve ever been this entire prep.
Hammer strength iso lateral underhand pulldown
Underhand grip barbell rows
Chest supported t bar rows
One arm cable rows
Cable pullover
Rear delt machine
Snatch grip shrugs
High cable curl
Dumbell curls -
I wouldn’t change my training at all when i’m cutting. Try to hold on to your strength levels as good as possible and keep the intesity high. Keep the volume at a level which you can recover from.

Thank you ???? It was so nice to have all the extra carbs but back to the grind today. I’m competing in NABBA England on 29 Sept and then PCA London on 6th October. I’m only in a Novice category this year but hopefully if the competitions go well, I want to take 12 months out and put some quality beef on so I can then go into Class 1.
What class are you doing at the Universe? And how are you finding your prep so far?
I know 212 guys were so good, although there was one guy who stood out for me in Open which was Patrick Moore. I think he has a big future ahead.
