Jordan how do you not rip your hair out at the riduclousness on social media? That form police bloke is a joke. And not to be rude but most of the RIR crowd. They don’t even understand their own training methodology (outside of Mike and a select few), weigh 60kg (scienctifically of course) and give unwanted advice to everyone. To be honest social media as a whole bums me out.
But then again looking at Mike’s instagram I think what you’re doing/preaching has been rubbing off because I’ve seen him at least pushing the insensity aspect more onto his follwers and capping the added sets. Or maybe I’m crazy lolWho’s Mike?[/quote]
Mike Israetel of RP. He’s the one that started the RIR method

17 on the deadstop rows? So you and Dusty are stuck for a tie at the moment. Won’t be long until you grab 20.
Seeing you two smash em made me put them back into my pull day weeks ago. Great to see

Pretty impressive your smashing pull ups (even with a band) at 270ish. Out of curosity what weight did you get to on the block pull? Can’t wait for the new videos

It’s split up as a push and pull- with quads on the push session and hams with pull. The frequency of legs killed me but it did really well as a ‘high’ intensity training block. I couldn’t maintain the frequency and dropped to a lower volume (eg one working set for most) of ppl briefly. Really enjoyed and it taught me alot with where I am at with recovery.
I’m also interested if anybody else gave it a crack

Mate watched your live Q & A and saw your lastest insta post. Stopping in to say your looking really sharp at 270ish. Pretty crazy. And on a side note always enjoy the insta comments

How do you guys program them in? Just looking for ideas. I usually do a couple of sets at the end of pull day/sometimes before rack pulls to really warm my back up

I’d programme it in as an accessory exercise after your main compound lifts. It will work the hams, glutes and lower back, so can be added into a lower or pull day. You don’t want your lower back feeling too fatigued going into a deadlift or squat, hence why I would do them after.

Thanks for the reply. It’s always a balancing act for me as I feel as though I have a bit of a glass back where free weight squatting or floor deadlifts kill me and pre fatitguing limits loads and keeps me safe -
