What’s you current split ? How much volume do you dedicate to arms at the minute ?

Currently running push, pull, rest, legs, and added an arm day. Volume is 10 sets per week specifically to arms. I’ll do 3 sets of biceps on pull day and add remaining volume on “arm day”- same protocol for triceps
And are you able to recover from this? If so if crack on .
Yes recovery seems to be much better. I was running 5 day split, 2 on/1off/ 3 on/ 1 off and felt like crap all the time. Dropped the 3rd day and added weekend rest/cardio- much better feeling/performance in the gym
Then run with it my man ..let us know how you get on in a few weeks..
I definitely will keep you up to date on progress. Keeping a close eye on everything and progress seems to be moving smoothly across the board

Having an arm day as this is a bodypart you want to bring up would be ok. This shouldn’t take lots of time to get completed, almost like an active rest day for you so recovery shouldn’t be impacted here. Be sure to consider exercises that target all areas of your arms for overall development so you may alter exercises on your arm day in comparison to what you would do in your push or pull sessions

Thanks man I appreciate it! Big fan by the way

It depends what your goal is. If you want massive arms, then yes. In terms of balancing out your physique I don’t think it’s necessary. What is your current training set up and what’s the goal?

Current training set up is Push, Pull, rest, Legs. I was adding an arm day after legs and then resting two days. Goal overall is to step back on stage within the next year to qualify for Nationals and earn a pro card. Was a Natural pro for a few years, then decided I wanted to come to the other side. Currently sitting at 240lbs

Thank you for sharing the insight. I swapped over from pro natural bodybuilding to the other side. Needing to learn more in regards to gear ⚙️side.
