    Deload works but most of us struggle to not go in and do a shit ton of fluff for a pump. Well I do anyway

    I took 6-8 weeks out last October to November and wow, good clean up too trt etc and was a hI’ve relief. Going slowly back into a blast with training I was revamped, into deficit now and I’m fairly confident I built 1.5-2kg of lean tissue from what I can gather so far.

    Just curious as to why your not running DC if it was so awesome?

    I hear many people praising it but aren’t running the programme.

    I switched to Fortitude about 18 months or so ago. But what you have to understand is the same principles apply, two all out sets to failure, but Fortitude includes upper/lower loading with upper/lower pump work so you have DC but with additional volume at lighter loads with great focus on execution, connection, contraction.
    Also one cannot run DC for repetitive cycles without completely burning out.
    Fortitude implements cruise periods to give the CNS a break.
    I must add that the loaded stretching in DC is key to the style.
    THP brother try it, it’s nasty and feckin ace.
    I still hit calves DC style, slow negs, holds and nasty ass stretching.

    Oh yes indeed I have, first time ever earlier this year, I ran some hex which I’ve not had problems with before and at week 5-6 my gut flora was a train wreck and I was struggling to eat 2000kcals at one point so I dropped it. I’ll only bother bringing it back in now if I compete, just to bring that edge 5 weeks out.

    It does seem odd at first on paper but as you get to grips with it and find that failure point on each chosen exercise it will truly build you like nothing else. At least in my experience.
    You really have to be at that point that forces you to give everything you’ve got.
    You must follow it to the book and put your ass on the line. We have days that we just pussy out because the challenge is real but in doing so you undermine the program.
    DC, Fortitude Training and Jordan’s ethic become one and the same in my opinion, but with variations that complement each other.
    I run Fortitude but I started with DC and found Jordan whilst in my quest for the most punishing and rewarding training style I could find.
    Believe in the process.
    If you get through a week and feel you haven’t done enough then you just haven’t found that point of progression.

    I have used them in the past and liked them.

    More during periods of illness and when energy is lacking and during prep and they did seem to help a little I thought but it could of been placebo and it was only because I was given them for free.

    I do feel they have more benefits during times or malnutrition and illness than anything else.

    Its going to help with methionine re-cycling and managing homocysteine which will have positive benefits on glutathione synthesis and methylation which may enhave mood as it will all feed off then toward neurotransmitter production

    However, be mindful that ploughing yourself with B-12 can be a detriment if you don’t have enough methylfolate to support it.

    And B-12 injections are old news lol

    Hey bro
    I started these this week, currently day two of 1000mcg/ml
    I also started gaba 1x100mg/ml
    My reasoning is to experiment after a long history of heroin and crack addiction and seemingly on going low mood etc to keep it short, and wow! Big difference in mood and energy. Your sleep stack also helped with a much more restful state of mind last night so I am very grateful.

    I don’t want to be that guy that is constantly self medicating but I refuse to do uppers it killed my mother already.

    So I’m loading this week and plan to maintain for the next few weeks.
    So what is your lowdown on b12 man? I mean would you consider doing a write up in layman’s terms. I feel I’m winging it a little tbh but cannot deny the immediate improvement.

    We on your case now brother.
    I hope you don’t mind me saying but if you come from a background of anorexia or some kind of eating disorder then ones self image is most likely skewed.
    I think it’s the same for all of us to a certain degree. When going from a lean spot into a mass/growth phase losing our current composition can be heartbreaking, we add cals and start to hold more water etc and our self image can be negative. To progress we have to understand the mindset and that is to grow and build, this means we have to appreciate that we may not look our best for some time. We have to learn to love ourselves no matter what we look like (not easy I know)
    Believe me I am telling myself the same thing so I completely understand.
    I have to remember that I am more than a physique (sounds crazy) you are first and foremost a person with an in built desire to love and be loved, this has to be in your mind 100%
    You are more than this and have to appreciate there is more to life than looking good, our needs go much deeper than how we are perceived physically.
    We have to be confident in who we are and realize we have needs beyond people’s approval of what we look like.
    I hope this makes sense, I just feel it’s relevant here. Take care of yourself.

    I usually take it with my last meal.

    However I found as my food volume as gone up this has made me more sluggish and taking it first thing now seems a little better for myself personally.

    Honestly I feel taking smaller doses of the right fibre type with meal 1 and last meal is likely your best option but you need to trial these things and take notes
