Ye it takes a long time to realise what’s lean and what’s not , don’t worry at all 🙂 , diet time and really push to get down , go slow , and then agajn super super slow on the way back up again

Defo gonna do that, was pretty set on dieting down just wanted some second eyes. Thanks for all your help 🙂

upper limit for me too, so potentially mini cut and go again if not been long and go slower , or if it’s been long , proper diet time

    Thankyou for the reply mate

Been about 8 months in a surplus with one 4 week tidy so will probably diet down slow from and get lean lean and then push up slowly. I can see that any extra weight gained from here won’t really be useful

How long have you been pushing up? Condition isn’t bad but it’s about the upper linit I’d say as to where you want to push it.

About 8 and a half months mate with one 4 week tidy up in there and yeah this is what I was thinking. Especially as a younger guy i probs have a lot more fat to lose than I think

Can we see some photos of your physique ? And 500kcal of junk is not a good idea. An off plan meal a week is ok. Buy junk everyday is not

    i cant post photos :((

    Back to logging

Had a few family issues so didn’t really think about logging. Still ticked all my bodybuilding boxes ofc!

For the last month I have been doing upper lower upper lower rest to see if I can recover and benefit from super high frequencies

It has defo worked as I have been progressing every session. Although I know have to really really fight for progressions due to high fatigue. That to me is worth it. Been super on top of my recovery and keeping stress as low as possible

Current body weight is 244lbs so 2lbs up this month. Unsure whether to carry on gaining as i don’t look or feel too fat but I certainly don’t look like a 244lb bodybuilder. I suppose this will come with age and muscle maturity as I am still a teen. Maybe one of the guys/girls could advise

    Upper tonight after work.

    Latest physique shots attached 🙂

    Hello Niall

Thought I’d drop by to say hello and read your log . What I love most about your intro is the fact that though you have a goal to step onstage at some point , it’s not at the forefront of your mind constantly, but training is .

The reason I say that is because most have got it the other way round and end up in a perpetual state of disappointment because they don’t prioritise the training . The obsession with getting strong , getting accurate, building intensity, building effort and all that will by default get you to the stage anyway.

So keep going , keep giving it a good crack on a daily basis and let’s see where we end up in another 6-12 months .

If you need any help please don’t hesitate to get in touch .

    Thanks a lot Oscar

There will defo be things I need help with as there is always things to learn, especially from people like you at the top of the game.

That’s how I am thinking, I am just focusing on doing the basics right everyday and seeing how far it can take me

Such a good leg session today as always. Pb on everything.

    Single leg curl-60kgx8
    Hammer strength single leg ext-75×11
    Cybex hack paused 6pps+2.5×6
    Watson Pendulem-5 platesx17
    Atlantis single leg press-6 platesx15
    Seat back leg extension-60kgx17
    Seated leg curl-85kgx13
    DC calvesx2

The hack felt amazing today man. Love pausing in the hole and exploding up. Remember hearing an old JP vid where he said, “lift really deep and get dirty strong at it” and it’s stuck with me ever since.

    Have a great weekend everyone

I have just gotten addicted to progression within bodybuilding, which has actually carried over to all areas of life.

This is such a brutal truth, which most people outside of the gym don’t realize

    Yes mate for sure!

I won’t delve into how much it has helped me as there is a lot of personal stuff that I wouldn’t want to put online but it’s been incredible tbh!

    Also to add

    Body weight: 239lbs

    Training day cals-5100
    Rest day cals-4000

    Next lifting goals:
    300kg SLDL
    7pps cybex hack for 10
    4pps incline smith for reps
5.5 pps hammer incline for reps
    250kg rdl for reps
160kg close grip barbell press for reps

I want these all within the next 6-8 months. If it takes longer so be it but I will give it my absolute best.
