Hey man. Not sure how many shows you’ve done yet. Assume it’s early days. There isn’t anywhere specific you need to grow, you just need to grow everywhere so don’t even try and think about isolating ‘X’ muscle group. Just spread volume evenly over everything. Take your body weight up and get stronger on all lifts. Probs full body or upper/lower split wound be great for you. Good luck brother.

Hey Joe, yes this is my first novice show, currently doing push pull lower, will give a try change to upper lower split for this up coming season. Thanks for the guidance

Everything . Tbh pal you look about 10 weeks out . Focus on getting stronger and don’t be worrying about certain things . Enjoy training because you need a lot more muscle to be competitive

Thanks for the feedback mate, will focus getting stronger and put on more lean mass

I’ve used a non-stim pump pre-stage, and it does give me a bit more. However, any added salt and fluid is what is maybe bringing a slightly dehydrated physique to life a bit more.

Spilling will come about from loading too hard days prior. If you’re show ready, a tiny bit of fluid and a non-stim pump isn’t going to cause you to spill.

Thanks a ton for the info
I’m planning 30 mins before stage was a touch of honey, salt and 150 ml of water with non stim pump supps

    Probably that might fit well

Hi Nicholas, yes if you really want to be super accurate then track EVERYTHING you put in your mouth. However personally I’ve never tracked a vegetable in my life.

    Thanks Louis

If you keep the amounts of green veg consistent, there’s no need to track exact calories.

    Awesome thank you Clare !
