Contact local Universities. I think Birmingham has one. I’m not sure if they’re open to the public, but it’s worth enquiring.

Is it the finals this weekend bud?
Also I think I’m your Instagram story you mentioned about the running of the show being poor, what was poor about it? Just curious as I’ve not competed with pca before but thinking about it for next year.
Well done on winning your class, I know your not happy with what you did but I’m sure your going to do well at the finals!

Looking hard in recent pic bud! Can see why this minicut is just 4 weeks, 265 will be crazy good

Back shot, big difference bud in condition so that’s why judge me purely by rear for condition now

I found out the same when I competed too bud, was happy with the condition from the front but the rear needed to be better

Today was pull day after a rest day yesterday.
Trap bar deadlifts were on the menu and I’ll be honest after seeing Corinne’s effort of 5 reps on 225kg I was worried, what a mental weight but the bosses are leading from the front as always

Corinne has put trap bar deads in my training plan too, not good when she posts a video of her pulling that weight haha

Last night was Leg/pull session, went really well with strength getting better, feeling a lot stronger now the food is up ????

    Session was:
    LEGS&PULL1
    Lying hamstring curl – 1 set of 7-9, 1 set of 11-12
Hack squat – 1 set of 11-12, up the weight, 2 sets of 7-9
Paused Leg press – 1 set of 8-10 reps, 1 sets of 20 – hold in the hole for the count of 1,2
Glute bridge on smith – 2 sets of 8-12
Weighted hyper – holding a bar to tie in your erectors – rest pause set
Lat pull down – 1 set of 15-20 reps
    Seated row – 1 set of 11-12, 1 set of 12-15
Adductor – 1 rest pause set
    Abductor – 1 set of 20 reps
    Calves on any kit – 3 x 10-12

Just had my free Costa coffee lol, don’t normally have to queue up at the Costa express machines but with it being free there was a 10 minute queue!

Push session tonight, will see how that goes, chest is my weak part so need to concentrate on getting stronger on chest, shoulders have always been decent and strong though.

Hope everyone is having a good day and smashes their training sessions!

Sounds like it’s going great with only 4.5 weeks out mate

Indeed it is Jay – everything is progressing nicely. Fatigue is definitely starting to creep up, but that’s when we continue pushing as that’s where the magic is happening. Off season has started strong for you buddy. Time to fuel those sessions with sausage and mash!

Yeah it seems to be going well mate, weight is going up nicely with the extra food
Sausage and mash is one of my favourites, but weird I know lol[/quote]
Cheers Jay. Looking forward to getting back up there my man.
I’ll be following the new log. Be interesting to see the transition into your offseason phase and then into the finals in June. Can’t believe they’re in June – bit of a funky month.
Nout wrong with sausage and mash, especially with a rich, anabolic onion gravy.
