Why are you taking insulin on your off days? There’s your first mistake I think. You shouldn’t need help up taking nutrients on a lower carb day, your body can perfectly handle the demand on that day.
Most people have more fats on off days because they’re not using insulin on those days and that’s what makes the most sense to me.

On day im on 700c. Rest day 450c.

Dosing of slin is different of course.

Hey buddy, I shouldn’t see insulin effecting this. What kind of training are you doing? Are you getting enough sleep? You good eeems in a pretty good spot also.

Sleep good. I think is much volume/frequency. Now with more muscle connection i think need less working sets.

    Thanks kuba!
Before this set-up, I only used insulin on training days (4 Meal pre + 7 Meal Post + 4 Meal postpost)
How do you see this usage scenario even on recovery days?

I wouldn’t overthink that but I definitely count all macros . I can’t see a reason why people don’t count proteins of carbs as if they wouldn’t be the same quality as meat. Even when they combine meat and carbs in a meal which contains protein obviously no reason to not count pasta protein. „direct“ or better sources comes down to digestion not meat nor carbs. I would always count both.

I agree with you. Calories is Calories.
But the Amino is not the same.
If I put a lot of Pasta, my ratio of Amino is poor.
This is different when dealing with occasional changes and small quantities.
    I think it.[/quote]
    Over thinking still.
We all are without a doubt eating more than we need.
If your getting 1g per lb from direct sources then the rest is a bonus n irrelevant of the amino acid profile both scientifically n reality.
So if your 200lb then 200g direct is way over the literature needs. I think this is perfect.
If your getting more then imo the ratio of direct to indirect isn’t as relevant as it would be if talking that first 200g

Hi Hilly (thanks for reply at previous doubt about inflammation).

I’m on 2gr x kg from direct sources. Yes.
    I’m 85kg.

Thank you for sharing! Imo if I feel inflamed I would be incline to switch oats with another carbs source first to see. Then corn flakes gluten free. Oats gluten free why not? (even if naturally gluten free maybe could be contaminated in the factory …just to make sure and maximize absorption!). Pasta gluten free too. But yeah better if @hilly can give his advice on this ??

Personally I don’t think that an increase of protein from a not main protein source can cause inflammation. Hopefully we can help you out on this!!

thanks. no, the inflammation issue is out of the context of the topic (I went out)

Ps: For Pasta I can try pasta made with mais+rice
