Will need to leave it alone for 4-5 days to let the initial inflammatory response do its thing , i would start healing peptides now.

Can you walk on it pain free ?

Running U/L split what do i need to do to the split to accommodate the hammy injury? Upper EOD?

I can put weight on it but walking is not easy. No bruising this morning. Is the BPC TB nasal spray effective?

Cut been going well. Weight is going down but training performance has been tanking a little bit for the past 4 sessions. Thought it was a fluke but session after session energy has been low. I’m at 2850cals 214 protein 321 carbs and 79g fat. Split into 4 meals and 1 scoop dextrin intra. All my carbs are pre and post workout meals. Do I need to spread my carbs out more or leave them as is?

Thanks for the advice guys, do any training adjustments need to be made with the decrease of cals?

It’s on my first of two top sets. I got 6 reps yesterday and I typically increase load when I get 8 on that movement

    Hypertrophy

Honestly just wanted try it for fun but I think I would rather have the growth from an actual set.

On second thought I don’t want that risk of injury and I’ll just keep progressing the way I have been

    Thanks Kuba

Training session went very well today with the rep range adjustments. First half of the session was phenomenal but I was absolutely wrecked for the back half of the session. I still clawed and was able to progress. I ordered some cyclic dextrin to sip on that intra to hopefully help with energy levels.

Thank you both for the advice. Another quick question. I am really enjoying U/L but I feel that there is still some growth left on the table with my quads. I’m currently doing 4 sets of total quad work per lower session. Should I add another set or 2 on top of that, or should I maybe add some work at the end of every other upper session, or something else?

There would be no harm in reducing the rep ranges – I personally would have it set up with 2 working sets 6-10 / 10-15, as you ideally want to get strong across multiple rep ranges , not just the one. However I probably wouldn’t go any lower than 6 🙂 I hope this helps!

Thank you so much this helps greatly. I will lower the load on my second set starting tomorrow for my upper session!
