Because the amino acid profile of pasta is inferior to meat, I would keep meat portion the same regardless of switching your carb source from rice to pasta.

Not sure about on cycle as I haven’t gotten bloods with it yet but when cruising I’ve found citrus bergamot helped my hdl.

Honestly I think a good start would just be to show them this video by Stan Efferding: https://youtu.be/spGHEnE0S-Y
Video starts with his experience, and benefits of salt start around 6:30.

The video is a short, easy to understand, and concise explanation of why salt is so beneficial for athletes and why low sodium will impair performance with real world examples from a top level nutrition coach.

Personally, I would probably not train unilaterally either, but just to play devil’s advocate and share an opposing view for consideration, I will quote Matt Jensen who had surgery on his right pec and continued training the left side immediately post surgery. From this post: https://www.instagram.com/p/CCeKDQahr8R/

“I had many ask me ‘Aren’t you going to create imbalances by only training one side?’

The truth of the matter is as we speak I currently have a huge imbalance I have one side that’s healthy and fully functional and another side that’s not. The entire purpose of me training my left side right now is to help facilitate the recovery process of my right side. The worst thing for a body in healing (once cleared) is to be stagnant. By training my left side I’m moving nutrients / blood through my upper to help heal, repair and rebuild the tissue.

This concept has been used for years by top athletes including the lifters at @westsidebarbellofficial for years! Plus to me this isn’t all about the training, it’s about the mental aspect of training that I enjoy so much as well as the structure and discipline that I thrive off of.”

Just throwing it out there, not necessarily suggesting it, but another option of administration could be oral BPC, like Dr Seed’s BPC tablets dosed at 0.5mg per tablet.
