Hi guys thanks for the reply. I’ve been dieting for14 weeks now. I haven’t done a deload or devolume as I have been progressing well in training(actually hitting a couple of pbs). Fatigue I would put at like a 3 maybe 4. Visually there has definitely been some changes/ improvements.

Hi Jordan. A while back I was pinning quads and got the worst tendinitis in my knees. I’m sure the training cause the tendinitis but minutes after pinning the pain would Get much worse in the leg that I pinned and wouldn’t subside for days. Everyone I spoke to said I was just imagining things (maybe I was). But could it be that with your extreme training and then pinning in delts/lats could cause some kind of irritation effect making the tendinitis worse??? Or I might just be full of shit.

    So just some feed back.
    Implemented the following changes.
Smith press changed from rest pause to straight sets.
Tri iso work has been brought down from 3 movements to only one movement.

Changing the smith machine press from RP to straight sets has made a huge difference.
Dips have gone from body weight only for 8 reps to body weight plus 20kg plate for 8 reps.

So thank you to everyone’s help.
The advice has definitely gotten me back on track.

I have two rotations at the moment. I’ll work on a third and see how that goes. I must say that I have been struggling with dips after the rest pause work on the smith machine. I’ll switch the rest pause set to straight sets (1 x work and 1 x back-off). Then drop the volume to 2 Tri iso movements. re-evaluate after a couple of session and then maybe drop to only 1 iso movement if necessary?

    So its:
Low incline DB press x 2 working sets
High incline Smith Machine press 1 x Rest pause set 3 failure points.
    Dips x 2 working sets
    Pec dec x 2 pumping sets (15 – 20 reps)
    Cuff lateral raises 4 sets
Rope push downs 2 x pump
Single Hand cable push downs 2 x pump
Single Hand overhead rope extensions 2x pump.

    Hope this makes sense…

Jordan with the switch over to clen for the week, have you ever found that it had an impact on your performance. Not being able to lift as heavy as normal without muscles cramping/spasms?

Thanks for all the advice. I’ll definitely look at my diet. Was also sick this week and think the meds caused some water retention as well.

I was wondering if that might not be a better idea, maybe just start adding in some cardio and see how the body responds. Thanks for all the help.

Thanks for all the replies guys! This really helps as I tend to over think these things. Been so bafly overweight in the past that as soon as the scale moves up I go into panic mode.
