Hi Reece thanks for your input on this it’s good to see another brother getting off the meds so to speak.

Well I did as Hilly advised and been doing the ACV & Glutamine every morning on empty – I then wait an hour before I eat.
I’ve also started doing some zero carb meals and that’s helping also.

Eating smaller meals is a definite winner too, it’s years of force feeding trying to get big that got my gut so messed up in the 1st place. Haven’t taken a ppi tablet in about 2 weeks.

Also noticed drinking less fluids helps.

It’s about Trying to find the cause , healing the stomach n getting your nutrition on point to prevent this.
Not a quick fix, usually takes me 3-6 months with clients.
Initially I would avoid gluten n dairy.
I would add in Apple cider viniger n 20g glutamine on waking
    I would monitor this
I would look to add betain hcl to meals n natural probiotics
    Asses every week

Alright mate thanks for the suggestions, any brands you recommend for those products?

I believe the cause to be gear related tbh and probably over eating/eating the wrong foods.

My diet is fairly clean but will try those suggestions.

I used to take glutamine all the time and it definitely helps so will order some right away.

    Thanks again

    Slipped L4/L5 here

Had months of grief with this..

Look up Mackenzie technique, also order back mechanic book by Stuart McGill and follow it through.

    Remove any exercise that hurts.

Take some time off training too. I had 2 months off under order of my chiro then gently returned.

I found lying in prone position and doing prone press ups really helped, literally couldn’t walk for some time, crawling around the floor in excruciating pain. Doc put me on amitriptyline and co-codamol – don’t do this, worst drugs ever, totally messed me up never again. Just do the Mackenzie stuff and all the steps in the stu McGill book.

Rebel strength have some axle bars and various strongman kit available, don’t think they do plates but might be worth a look.

I couldn’t find any dumbbells at all mate but managed to order a powertec rack and 110kg of plates from fitness superstore and then got an Olympic barbell and bench from core strength equipment in Leeds. Have a look there may be some bits left but it’s pretty grim and not cheap – I’ve spent around 1500 so far

Pretty meh IMO. Used it pre and post workout regimen.
Site oil and also tried a hyaluron product. Great pumps during training- painful next few days. Lots of fucking oil.
I swear after a month off, any possible gains were kind of gone. Scientifically, it doesn’t make sense for growth but localised swelling getting close to a comp might be better.

Appreciate your input mate. Interesting stuff. Seems to be a temporary thing which is pointless for me. Plus I cba pinning any more than once a week these days. Lol.

I have managed to avoid blood letting because of high dose curcumin and ip6 , which has been convenient this year , hopefully the same for you

It seems quite person dependant , potentially it can help all the things mentioned in this thread , and then in others it doesn’t seems to impact much at all

Man thank you for chiming in on this, great to have your opinion. I’ll up my dose and see how my bloods look an another few weeks, blood letting isn’t easy to get done so if I can do it with a supp then that would be good.

Could it be the water where you live? Have you moved away somewhere else? I noticed when living abroad my hair became brittle and so dry – i literally only washed it once a week. Turned out it was the water. Hard water will dry it out if you’re not used to it.

It can help buddy, particularly if your not hugely over the level. I personally use it but also blood let regularly as my levels can get high.

No I’m just over the top end of the scale and I’m on very little gear – I’m assuming my numbers are skewed from my last blast. Will use the IP6 and arrange to donate some blood. What dose of IP6 do you run? Thanks
