IME ip6 does seem to help with red blood cell count specifically, but doesn’t do much for hemoglobin/hematocrit.
Funnily enough, it’s probably the most effective supplement I’ve found for lowering LDL!

That’s interesting – it’s also some kind of anti cancer pill as well apparently! Good stuff

Just had some blood work done and I’m just outside the high range on hb,hct and rbc – MPV is in range but on the high side..

I’m wondering if IP6 can lower these values and is there anything else I can add in? Cheers

    @drdeanstmart

These are my raised values: Hb – 181
    Rbc 5.82
    Hct 0.540
    Rdw 14.3

Hi mate wanted to ask about your back injury? I read on a forum post you have a herniated disk L4/L5? Wondering how you came back from this? I’m 2 weeks off the gym and going crazy lol

When I did it I had just torn my pec a few months before.
I was bed bound for around 4-5 days.
Then just rehab n rest. I wasn’t aware how bad it was for 1-2 years. I always had back ache n had stopped deadlifting but was still squatting 200kg regularly until it went again n I was stuck in bed for 4-5 days.
Now I don’t do anything that stress the lower back at all. My workouts are specifically designed for this.
Having a degree in sports therapy really helps with this stuff. Blessing to say the least

Ok mate so no spinal loading?
I see you’re still doing heavy leg press – this seems risky? I was told front squats would be ok or seated leg press.

What’s a seated hack squat? Never seen one of those.

    Any other tips?

    Cheers

Just watched the latest clip on your insta and all I can say is that is absolutely awesome – THAT is proper training. I love seeing that level of intensity it’s so rare – most people are afraid to tap into their true power ????????

As my coach said to me in those final weeks just chase the pump, don’t do anything crazy, you ain’t gonna lose muscle at this stage.

Taking a break can help big time with this – I went through it myself and I will admit I was in a very dark place indeed. Went away travelling and it totally healed me. Good luck mate and remember that pain is temporary!

Jordan with your giveaways are able to do any comps to win free stuff on this site? I don’t have social media so I always miss out on your IG giveaways and it’s a bit frustrating as I buy a lot of the TrainedByJP stuff and it would be nice to win a free T shirt or some cool shit to feel like part of the team ????????

It sounds like the issue is when you are in the very bottom range of the movement and imo I’d say you need to use a shorter range of motion. I’d do box squats if squats are a must and then I’d be looking at the leg press as your main movement with a shorter rom. Nothing needs to be ass to grass to get big quads, plenty of bodybuilders have shown that.

Refreshing to hear that you ain’t into the science of bodybuilding and that you just like to train like an animal. That’s the same as me and I often hear the young guys starting out talking about the science etc and I have no clue about science – just lift heavy shit for as many reps as you can, eat like a monster and throw a little gear and you grow. It’s actually such a simple process.

I just use the whitworth stuff (ground rice)
100g cook in a pan with water, add 10g coconut oil. Once cooked I add 2 scoops of whey and some cinnamon – easy and tastes alright.

The use of these supplements should be governed by your blood work. Do you really need all of that?

The same goes with gear, can you get similar results on less? Or use cheaper compounds? Probably.

Remember none of this shit was about back in the golden era so don’t just take things because it’s trendy.
