So if we were to use 10% fats on a cutting phase in order to allow for more carbs, then, would we also decrease the protein in order to allow for even more carbs during low kcal phases?
If not, how much protein x pound would you use during cut?
Thanks -
Your body will only start to breakdown protein for energy as a last resort from my understanding.
So if your on moderate carbohydrates this is likely not happening.
If your worried about kidneys you must get a blood test done buddy.
Most people doing this find urea is raised and it’s not a concern.
I would not want to judge my kidney health based on the smell of my sweat
Yeah I had bloods taken a week ago and my urea was just 1 point over the reference range, but I’m also aware that high protein consumption leads to gluconeogenesis therefore leading into urea and amonia as not 330g of protein will be used for protein synthesis.
@Hilly Have you ever experienced ammonia sweats in the past? -
-
If you sesrch JPs log I answered it in depth.
its an issue with ammonia recycling.
Supplement with Ornithine and Arginine Alpha ketoglutarate to stop the blockage and eliminate the urea via urine
Yeah I found it on 2018 JP’s log page 175, but you said that was because of the urea cycle.
My question is if that means your kidneys doesn’t work properly as they cannot produce the required urea amount thus leading to so much ammonia (if you google ammonia sweat you pretty much can read everywhere that you are fuckd up).
In my case it happens because of drinking a lot of water I sweat a lot and right now I’m on a high protein diet and quite moderate carbs, which makes me think that’s because I use most protein consumption for energy and not because of depleted glycogen storages.
Hope you can clarify it a little bit! 😉 -
For an assisted athlete how much protein x pound would you use for cutting and bulking, thanks beasts!

In addition to that, is medicheck high sensitivity?@Hilly Should the deafult ranges, which are used for conventional parameters, be taken into consideration in the same way when using high sensitivity?
-
Do you know whether the values are from standard bloodwork method or from an unltrasensitivity one?
-
okkay thanks for your answers! I guess in the end it’s all about how your body responds to certain things and what’s best for you!
-
@Jordan_peters of course I did, but none of them talk in regard to its impact on E2 levels, because of that I wanted to know from you point of view which would be the ratio Test:bold that has brought you and your clients to low E2 levels, being more favorable for a cutting phase and which ratio would you suggest to keep E2 high for the off-season!
Thank you. -

Which ratio would you use in order to keep e2 as low as possible on a cutting phase?
And in a bulking phase in order to keep on the higher end?
Thankss a lot!
