Why not count it as a protein source it has maily proteins in it. And also why you have to define it to a protein or carb source at the end of the day all macros need to be counted??‍♂️ at least I do it that way

I do it that way too. It’s just many people here emphasise pro/fat meals without carbs to help insulin sensitivity

Far better machines you can use thay will give you more bang for your buck
The way it’s made it doesn’t allow for much knee flexion without your back coming off the pad one way or another
If you hit it other way it is useless too imo
Useless piece of kit loved by many who like to just use a ton of weight and remain SMOLL

Completely off won’t be possible right now due to my head lol.
Will be doing 50% volume and 80% intensity/weight with 2-3 reps in the tank.
Cardio will drop from 105min weekly to 75min weekly.
Hope that helps for a more specific answer in terms of calorie intake I should aim for with 3000kcal at the end of my cut.

So not a deload at all really IMO.
I would up kcal 500 on train days.
Give your body as much support as you can.

Why is that not a Deload when doing only half volume and less intensity ?

Generally nothing needs to change. You still need the food to help you recover, so all that changes is the volume and intensity of your sessions. Unless you’re taking a full few days off the gym, then just follow a rest day diet.

And when doing 50% volume and 80% intensity how should my calories change ? Especially when coming out of a mini cut like me ? Been losing 1kg per week on 3000kcal and now want to Deload first week after my cut

What did u have them during prep ?
I would still be doing cardio on rest days as well as some mobility work etc.
For me I’d drop to 2600-2700

How much calories would you say should be reduced during a deload week ? When doing 50% volume and less intensity for example
I’m coming out of a mini cut, been losing 1kg on 3000kcal, will Deload this week and want to get to maintenance. Do you think 3500 seems reasonable ?

in the offseason I would say 20-30 mins on rest days would be important just to help keep blood pressure, hdl and hematocrit in check. definitely wouldnt cut it out completely

Whats when one off day is the day after leg day ? Can I still do stairs ?
Sure, whatever you’d want. Keep intensity low on cardio you don’t want it taking away from your workouts. Jordan keeps me at 130bpm 40mins the day before and after legs. I se the upright bike
Even with sore legs ? Always scared that it will hinder recovery

Add back in slowly and monitor your bodyweight carefully do not focus on scales focus on performance

would you cut out any cardio on off days when reversing out of a mini cut ?

Hey,
yer 500 is good, just track weight and look every few days before you think of making adjustments.

Would you cut out one of the two cardio sessions or leave in both and maybe reduce the 45min one to 30min ?

Had a nice restday today after a stressful day yesterday organzing everything. Ready for tomorrow’s deadlifts.

Complete rest or cardio on off days ?
