Sorry I never updated in almost a week !

So last week my weight took another jump to 212 lb
@jordan-peters was as much confused as I am by the situation considering low dose etc.

My only logic is the aldosterone increase possibly from the nandrolone again combined with higher estrogen causing sodium and water retention.
Bloodwork this week to see where everything is 4 months into this year.

Body is feeling a bit beat up now 6 weeks post illness recovery with how fast I’ve been pushing to progress.

Much needed dry needling and deep tissue work with Glenn last night.
Lower back was like concrete and a few of the needles bent going in lol.
Left hamstring injury is almost fully gone thanks to Glenn and his sadistic craft of ART ????

Feel v refreshed today and thankfully its a rest day.
Based on how body is feeling, I may take tomorrow off too as I do feel recovery is starting to take a hit.

The main variable really has been sleep quality.
Cmbined with throat snoring from nasal breathing when sleeping on my back and sleeping on edge at night when Morgan is feeding Calum during the night; the last 4 days I’ve not been feeling too rested waking up even though “sleep time” is 8.5 hours.

Are These Jumps normal on nandrolone ?
Are there compounds what Acts stronger on aldosterone ?

Is Aldosterone the only Reason for the water gain in the beginning of the Cycle and explain the often fast weight gain up to 5kg or more ?

You can’t isolate the outer quad. Every muscle fibre gets hit when doing any exercise/variation of an exercise, you just can put an emphasize on certain fibres when doing certain variations of movements.
Close stance leg presses worked for me, but there’s actually research showing highest activity in outer quads when doing simple squats.

You should “feel your muscle” on your loading sets 2 bud, like really feel the contraction while smacking heavy load
    ~ form AND mechanical tension

yes i know and i do feel the muscle during loading sets, but i mean purposely slowing down reps really to feel the muscle even more and holding the contraction a few seconds instead of touch and go.

hey, i would avoid cardio on leg days to allow sufficient recovery, on other days light cardio is fine, obviously if your feeling extremely fatigued on occasion then avoid it, unless your in contest prep and it needs to be done.

    thanks !

    @DrDeanStMart

BP spiked to 155/95 even when resting sometimes, went up as high as 180/100. Never had any issues with BP and suddenly when I had a little cold last week BP spiked.
Didn’t stop the creatine and worked out 1 day earlier. Also didn’t drink a lot this day before the test. So kidney numbers are most likely elevated due to that. But what scares me is the sudden BP spike. Went donating blood today and will see how it changes. Because RBC is that high the first time now after being on TRT for 7 months. Is a high RBC dangerous with normal HCT ? Because my HCT was still ok with 49 wasn’t it ?

Hmm…those numbers look ok to me, though the overall dose is low to achieve them. Prolactin maybe? @drdeanstmart

Checked prolactin several times before and never was an issue so I doubt it is now, will check again in a few weeks

@jdh reason I want to change layout is because my pull day comes right before leg day, so training biceps on pull and then one day later on leg day would be suboptimal.

I‘m working with 1 loading set 6-10 and 1 back off set 10-15 as well as 1 additional AMRAP 10-15 for arms.
Connection is very good, there’s no problem at all. It’s just hard to add reps to biceps, triceps is fine.

    Movements for arms are:
Overhead EZ Bar extensions, rope pushdown, overhead dumbbell extension for triceps (6 sets of isolation total per week in addition to my dumbbell and smith presses for chest)

    and for biceps:
ez bar curls, dumbbell preacher curl, ez bar preacher curl, hammer curl (6 total isolation sets in addition to 8 sets of back work per week).

    regards

@cameron First exercise was close grip lat pulldown 9 and 11 reps second exercise was wide grip cable row. First set should be 6-9 second 9-12 and I only got 5 and 9

@cameron i‘m a natural advanced, been lifting for 8 years now and currently bulking.
It happens in my second exercises for the most part after I progressed the first exercise so I guess it’s kinda normal for it to be hard to just maintain last trainings performance after having a progression in the first exercise ?

@jdh could you maybe put the link of the thread you mentioned me in, where JP explains the workout style, in here again ? Can’t look at it anymore.
