Hilly what do you think of the „hype“ polyunsaturated fats like sunflower seeds get here at the moment ? People say one can look leaner when they consume a lot of polyunsaturated fat

You’ve asked the same question on every athletes page and had the same answer mate?[/quote]

No, people have different opinions on this topic and the log is there for a reason so you can ask diff people for their opinions or not ???

hey Jamie ! I often hear people saying food needs to be progressed throughout a gaining phase just like training/strength. But how often do we actually should increase food ?
If I am gaining weight for 2-3 months on the same calories and strength goes up I guess I can just stay at the same calories ?

    thank u

    Chest and back

Rest day 2moro. From the next 3 day cycle all exercises will have 2 x failure sets using the same weight as food goes up again slightly

This means over 8 days arms / pec / delts will get 8 failure sets

Back / quads / hams will get 12

8-12 sets over 8 days seem rather low compared to what I often see when people doing 6-8 sets to failure for chest for example in one workout and that twice a week.

Whats the reason you re using lower volume ?

It won’t inhibit muscle growth at all.

    Just make sure you are

    Progressing in strength
    Progressing in food
    Progressing in weight

    Recovery is on point

I often hear food needs to be progress throughout a gaining phase which seems logical. But how often do we need to increase. For example if one is gaining weight at the same calories for 2-3 months, why would he need to increase anything if weight is still going up ?

    Hey Jordan,

regarding our last discussion about sunflower butter being inflammatory I know got some plain seeds.

Can I put these into a warm meal, into cooked rice for example or will the heat of a meal also alter some of the seeds structure or inflammatory response ?

    thanks

I am on 30mg Test E M/W/F and That gets me top end of normal range.

I started with HCG 2 years ago but i dropped the HCG after a while since it made me feel really awkward. Feel great now on Test only.

Polys are popular at the minute and I’ve seen some very interest studies favouring them over monos

Do you have a link ?

The opposite to anti inflammatory , just eat the damn seeds

But by which process does it get inflammatory when the seeds are anti inflammatory and the butter not ? Also is it definitely or just the possibility ?

They aren’t “ destroyed “ , that’s not possible , but they become potentially pro inflammatory . I don’t use any seed butter personally as I like to eat the seeds , they are much more nutrient dense and aid digestion to a greater extent.

What do you mean by pro inflammatory ? Will I have any adverse effect from eating the butter ?

Hey Jordan ! Can I also use sunflower butter instead of the seeds or will the progress of making it into a butter destroy the poly fats ?
