Creatanine levels can be elevated just from hard training etc at times and yours are barely elevated here so i personally would not be concerned.

Incorrect. Creatine Kinase can be elevated substantially from training, but not creatinine. Also, a value 25% above the upper limit does not qualify as “barely elevated”, his values are higher than what is common in people who likely have more muscle mass and protein intake than this guy.
Most importantly, you cannot look at creatinine in isolation. I combination with elevated BUN, there is reason to believe that the elevated creatinine does indeed reflect a lower than normal (true)GFR.
To the OP: make sure thyroid panel is included in your next blood work.

    https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3383162/
Although you are correct in what you say I am not incorrect either. As you can see in the study here there are many reasons and possibilities.
    https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2390952/
Again higher muscle mass/exercise and protein intake can cause elevations in serum creatanine levels as I said.
So to the OP I personally would not be concerned however if you are worried in the slightest then do as Jeff states above. We are just people on the internet giving our opinion, as I stress in every health based post if you are worried always consult your GP

“In this study, individuals with moderate/intense physical activity presented higher urinary creatinine, probably as a result of the larger muscle mass and the higher mean protein and meat intake consumed by these individuals.”
Hence, it’s not the exercise that elevates creatinine, but rather the fact that physically active people have more muscle mass and higher protein and creatine intake. The fact that the latter influence creatinine is well-known of course, and I factored that into my assessment of his creatinine levels. High-normal to slightly elevated levels are indeed normal in bodybuilders. But look at someone like JP, he has much more muscle mass than the OP, trains harder and probably has higher protein intake. Yet his creatinine is barely out of range. The same is true for the vast majority of bodybuilders whose blood work I have seen. Similarly, elevated BUN is very rare even in bodybuilders. In the case of the poster above it did not correspond to decreased kidney function, but it is still an abnormal finding and should be followed up since it generally indicates insufficient kidney function.
The other paper states that “intense exercise can increase creatinine by increasing muscle breakdown”. But it only cites 2 studies on people with rhabdo. In the case of rhabdo, myoglobin acutely damages the kidney, thereby lowering filtration rate and hence leading to elevated creatinine. But outside of this condition, even very intense resistance exercise does not lead to elevated creatinine levels the following days. So it is not like in the case of transaminase levels being elevated in the days after an intense workout.

What would you say to my diagnosis and results? Along with creatinine at 1.8

Get a Cystatin C test, then you’ll know. I have creatinine at 1.80, eGFR at 50, BUN at 22-23…

Having high protein diet will increase BUN, I ate 100g everyday for a week and retested and my BUN came back lowered and within range.

Went to Renal specialist, they did ultrasound, 24hr urine test, Cystatin c, hepatitis etc all tests possible…

Outcome; “Everything is normal, your kidneys are functioning at 90%”

My understating is creatinine is going to be elevated due to working out and muscle mass…. eGFR (the e is an estimate) will always be low due to creatinine going up… if creatinine drops your eGFR goes up… TM Cycles did a video on this… it’s not an accurate way to gauge kidney function.

My eGFR is 50 and creatinine is 157…. had ultrasound, 24hr urine, Cystatin test along with numerous other blood test from specialist and all came back clear and kidneys functioning at 90%. In saying that years before starting gym I was in hospital for something and they noticed back then my creatinine was slightly elevated, so just be a genetic thing.

    Hey @dean,
I finished 4 weeks of Caber and just re-took a test for prolactin and now I’m suppressed haha!
I’ve gone from 579 – 63.1. Will this level natural start to trend back up with time? Is there anything I can do to get my prolactin within normal range?
    Cheers,
    Chris

It will show as testosterone due to blood test being done by ELISA which shows deca/npp as testosterone

    @lukeappleby

    Hi mate,

Going from your blood work…you’ve tanked your estrogen (too much A.I).

What AI are you taking and how much?

It’s no wonder your sex drive has disappeared when your estrogen is that low dude. Estrogen is important.

I suspect you’ve simply been too aggressive with your AI use in fear of estrogen related sides/gyno.

I’d cut your AI use completely, stay on the test and retest in 4-6 weeks.

Your sex drive should return as your test/estrogen balance improves but it may take a little while.

His DHEA is low aswell, but agree with you on estrogen

I really think its person dependant.

I ran caber at 1mg a week on this current cycle my prolactin on bloods came back at 0.3 lololol and my sex drive was very high.

I honestly think you might be really over thinking my man.

Use some Cialis (it had health benefits in small dosages anyways) like user above said 1/4 tab it should be bang on.

Tren Zaps my sex drive a little bit but a lot can be in your head.

I was adamant when I had sex last my erection wasn’t as it has been and I have been on tren 3/4 weeks now. Sleep is poor etc etc.

However I had sex this morning and all was good , but I had been over thinking it a lot which can make things worse.

prolactin is to low which could be the issue defo. Try ditching caber and using Vitamin B6 – plenty of research on this showing it lowers prolactin and 2 of my clients have used it successfully.

I would also ask are you using pharma caber etc?

If your libido was great on 150 test have u tried doing 150 test and 150 tren?

Agree with Hilly regarding the Vitamin B6 – I used the P5P version worked great. 200mg seem to be a good dosage imo.

Would low prolactin cause loss of sex drive and ED?

Thank you @kuba1000hotmail-co-uk-cielen and @drdeanstmart, really appreciate the effort you guys put in on these forums.

I’ll go ahead as planned with the increased AI dose and oestrogen/prolactin re-test.

If the elevated prolactin is not corrected by reducing E2 (i.e. high prolactin is due to testosterone affecting dopamine receptors), is there anything I can do? Could I use other anabolics that would not elevate prolactin levels, or would all have a similar effect?

    Thanks

If after taking caber, AI it goes down but increases again, look into getting an MRI
