It is defo a conflict , BUT look at how critically your examining this all now ???? , this is exactly what I hoped my videos would do. You will figure it out from here bud, I have no doubts ????

@jordan-peters thanks for the voice note, as a fan it means alot to hear from you directly ???? don’t doubt the power of your vids mate – they absolutely did motivate me. And it is only your passion in them, and what you have acheived, that has me even considering changing my training so dramatically and going back to a ‘beginner’ FB split, which to be honest, I’m dreading! I’m trying to fight my urge to do what I want, as oppossed to what I need (never heard it vocalized before but really hit home)! Although i’m also thinking about realistically what I can adhere to. I have no desire to compete, a full time job and a young baby so not sure i can commit to the time it would take to do a FB at intensity with all the warm ups I’m guessing 2-3hr sessions. I also wonder if given i want to work on my upper more, that the 2x sets for lower and 1x upper makes sense. I don’t wanna short change myself with results, but want to be honest, hence the conflict in making a decision!

@clare thanks for your reply and kind words ???? thats something i have been thinking about too – volume vs intensoty vs frequency. I am sure that I have fallen into the ‘more is more’ trap and not understood what my recovery allows

Thanks Jimmy, I will check out the logs for inspiration and post up when I’ve made a draft.

Hey Corrine, I was following last plan for only 5 weeks but burned myself and had to take a week off which is unheard of for me. Tried to make a routine based on one of JPs old you tube videos but not understanding the principles i’m sure it must have been too much e.g. i didnt understand about back off set or rotations so was doing and became overtraned especially as n a deficit:

Sun & Thurs – push _ all compounds 2x 6-10 w/ rest pase and drop set on last and isolations 2×10-12

    Inc BB press
    Inc DB flyes
    Muscle clean & press
    Db Lat raise
    Close grip BB press
    Abs

Mon & Fri – pull – again all compounds 2x 6-10 w/ rest pase and drop set on last and isolations 2×10-12/15

    Bb row
    Bands straight arm pull down
    Bb curl
    Db hammer curl
    Bb shrugs
    Db shrugs

Tues legs all compounds 2X4-8 with rest pause, isolations 2×10-15

    Back squat
    Leg extensions
    Lying leg curls
    Glute hip raises
    Standing unilateral db calf raise
