Yeah my body fat is too high. I’ve been competing in powerlifting for 5 years and wanted my midsection as thick as possible to squat and deadlift as heavy as possible and had no regard for aesthetics. I would really push my weight up leading into comps with 750-1000g carbs and just didn’t care how I looked or how fat I got.
This is a new challenge for me for a moment to work on bringing this in

MemberDecember 3, 2024 at 4:44 pm in reply to: Altering macros/where to pull from to further create deficitI’m doing no cardio. My steps on my phone usually show up as 5-10 thousand. Don’t track it closely, maybe it’s something to focus more on. How much fat do you see. Thanks Rob

One more thing I was wondering, I’m going to be pulling from my carbs as I start to increase my calorie deficit, I know it’s hard to speak in general terms but would this be a good approach to it if I was targeting 12 weeks to get in shape. My protein is at 1.2g/lb:
Weeks 1-4 = 300 carbs
Weeks 5-8 = 200 carbs
Weeks 9-12 = 150/100 carbs
